Eleanor Clift is such a jackass, she acts like the Iranians have a right to a nuclear program but she would argue to shut down our nuclear power *spit*

It would be preferable if you want subsidies. You know, just lie like everyone else does anymore.

What, you just eat one?
The first time I had lobsters, it was outdoors on a picnic table with steamed clams and roasting ears, and lots and lots of butter.
You can tell the people “from away”...they wear huge bibs.

What do you have against OKC? The people there certainly do NOT want the media establishment moving there. Send them north to southern Canada, Montana or North Dakota!

Wow, just WOW!!! I have been hoping for a true conservative leader for years now, and I think I just watched him on Meet the Press. What a conservative tour de force!
Finally, we have a leader who will, repeatedly, reject the premises of the media and democrats. He flatly told Gregory his premise was incorrect. Finally, we have someone who turns the dems lingo against them. Did you see how Cruz repeatedly and effectively argued that it is Harry Reid who has refused to compromise at all, and who will be the one shutting down the government.
Cruz/West 2016, baby!

I swear I know it’s just anecdotal. And bear in mind that I live in a very conservative area.
But everyone in church is laughin and snorting about gubmint being shut down. I mean, really....this only scares the hell out of the political elite and ruling class.
THEY are nothing without the gubmint. Out here in la la land we’re busy raising kids, getting new knees, practicing for Christmas pageants and fighting evil neighbors.
Bah humbug.

It is clear to me that most Republicans have transmorgrifried (from Calvin & Hobbes) into the Arlen Spector wing of the Party. They are all doomed to the same fate....inglorious, insignificant and quickly forgotten.Who? ;)

His son was married at noon on a Friday? LOL. I didn't say he was telling the truth!
He'd probably say he needed to go to the rehearsal dinner, but with a three hour time advantage he might have even made that depending on when he could get a flight. Plus the rehearsal dinner isn't nearly as important as the ceremony and this was a critical vote for the survival of the country...

I would disagree with you that these people suffer from low self-esteem. The opposite is more the problem. And they think they DESERVE free stuff from the government. They’ve been very carefully taught that the gov’t is there to take care of them & it’s only the greedy old white men who are preventing them from getting their just desserts.
My sister, now 59, divorced in the last 10 yrs or so, has said to me 1) she deserves health care & 2) what’s wrong with socialism? She watches Jon Stewart & Stephen Colbert & listens to NPR.
I even had an 8 year old tell me, after ‘driving’ the car on a ride at Disneyland, that she would be a better driver than those NASCAR guys. Eight is awfully young for megalomania to set in! But it seems that’s the world we live in today.
