We all understand just how political this act is.

I would love to see a comparison of the cost of maintaining these “Holy places” versus the total cost of all of the vacations the first family has taken at taxpayer expense.

Is there a conservative legislator who has the kajones to research and report the aforementioned comparison????

How do you “shut down” a field full of graves and crosses? This is just theater.

Absurd.

It is interesting to note that all the D-Day monuments and cemeteries are funded 100% by the USA on French soil!

The French do not give one Euro for the upkeep of these sites, if they did, it would be a painful reminder that the US saved their sorry a**es twice in one century...

The French motto of: Liberté, égalité, fraternité
Should read: Passivité, Debilité, Timidité

Problem is, now Obama has adopted the latter expression - the French are looking like a serious nation when compared to Obama’s America...sad.

Lighten up...France saved our sorry a** in the Revolutionary war...If not for Rochambeau, we never could have pulled it off. And Lafayette...who can deny his role in our history.

The France of the 18th and 19th centuries, her glorius Imperial period is not the same France from 1860 onwards to the present day.

Under Obama, it looks like the US is heading into the same oblivion...

“Christopher Palmer, a spokesman for the US embassy in Paris, confirmed the move but said the mission and consulates in the country will remain open. “

Priorities, priorities. Gotta keep that gay outreach going. Cemeteries can close.
