After causing a stir among Gettysburg College students Tuesday, Bill Ayers offered an apology.
But, he pointed out, it was the same stir that drew the crowd of more than 100 who came to listen to him speak about education reform. And that, he said, is important.
"We should be able to have a dialogue and speak with the possibility of being heard and listen with the possibility of being changed," Ayers said.

"There is no one like Bill Ayers," said Kaoru Miyazawa, assistant professor of education at Gettysburg College. "He believes teaching is a moral and political action. He asks, 'what should I do in this class with what I know?' He teaches to make the world a better place."

Let's hope so.
It is good to see some students protesting Ayers. Ayers has been visiting South Central PA all too often. He’s buds with the next mayor of Harrisburg.
Tell that to people like Ann Coulter, etc.
Speaking tour by a moron. All the campus lefties will be excited.
If anyone needs to suffer from lead poisoning its this guy.
::We should be able to have a dialogue and speak with the possibility of being heard and listen with the possibility of being changed::
I love the way he and his kind think “others” ought to change. This man hasn’t changed - he’s still an activist, rabble rouser and America hater. I guess he could be considered harmless because it’s impossible to even understand him but the young and impressionable can be led astray by him and his ilk - such as his friend in the White House. They are all dangerous.
“We should be able to have a dialogue and speak with the possibility of being heard and listen with the possibility of being changed,” Ayers said.
Unless, of course, if your opinion differs from his.
That’s my alma mater...The history department used to be predominantly conservative, but by all reports has become somewhat less so since I graduated.
Coincidentally, it’s also where Ron Paul did his undergraduate studies.
“We should be able to have a dialogue and speak with the possibility of being heard and listen...”
As opposed to blowing things up.
This terrorist has never paid for his crimes. He belongs in jail. Anyone listening to him is listening to a criminal.
Good for those students. They are waking up. As for that ‘professor’, show him the door.
I agree. Pox upon him and his anti-Free-American ilk.
Colleges today are being run by morons. There are worthy people to inite to speak. Ayers is the opposite of worthy. Ayers should have been given a long, long sentence in federal prison. Ditto for his wife, Bernardine Dohrn.
Too bad he wasn’t grabbed after wards by some individuals and then released blindfold on say Little Round Top or in the Devil’s Den around midnight. This AH might have had some interesting company as the shades of three days in a July long past gathered about him and asked him to account for his miserable life.
“There is no one like Bill Ayers,” said Kaoru Miyazawa, assistant professor of education at Gettysburg College. “He believes teaching is a moral and political action. He asks, ‘what should I do in this class with what I know?’ He teaches to make the world a better place.”
Actually there are a lot of terrorists like Ayers that believe in blowing things and people up. He teaches to make the world a better place? Kaoru Miyazawa you are ones stupid Mutha F***er!
The mad bomber attracts a hundred people. He should be in prison.
