It's a batting average that won't land the federal marketplace for Obamacare into the Healthcare Hall of Fame.
As few as 1 in 100 applications on the federal exchange contains enough information to enroll the applicant in a plan, several insurance industry sources told CNBC on Friday. Some of the problems involve how the exchange's software collects and verifies an applicant's data.
"It is extraordinary that these systems weren't ready," said Sumit Nijhawan, CEO of Infogix, which handles data integrity issues for major insurers including WellPoint and Cigna, as well as multiple Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliates.

They should have put their fake voter experts on this. Maybe 99% of those registered for medical care would have been fakes or dead people, but at least it would have looked better than this.
I can see the numbers now. CNBC announcer: “503% of the citizens of Baltimore have already registered for Obamacare, and it’s hardly off the ground yet!”
Critics warned it wasn’t ready. Obama & Co assured everybody it was ready. It wasn’t. And it won’t be ready on Monday.

I could not even create an account to look at the plans. It accused me of using the same word for each “secret question” answer. Guns, Religion, and Bible seemed to be answers it did not want.

All nobamacare signup websites are simply a big net with which to catch the uninsured and assess fines on them.
Epic Fail is right. I have filled out applications online (not for Ocare) and it surely can’t be that hard to get it right. Other companies do it all the time.
We have a cancer policy through Aflac that I do everything online except fax copies of the doctors visits. Jeez how hard can this be?

Let’s start by no longer referring to them as that; they only “do good” with our money, not their own.

I guess the web site developers never saw or used one of those web pages that requires you to fill in all the fields, and when you don't returns you to the form with a red asterisk next to the field you forgot to enter. I guess they found programmers who had never used Amazon, or booked a hotel room or airline tickets on line. And then, being the government, they hired them.
