The actor has been critical of Democrats and the president and presumes his political opinions will cost him jobs.
After repeatedly criticizing President Barack Obama, actor James Woods suggested in a tweet late Tuesday that his politics may cost him work in Hollywood.
Woods has been critical of Obama before but in the past few days seems particularly incensed at the presidents handling of the partial government shutdown. He tweeted, for example: This President is a true abomination. To have barricaded the WW2 vets, but allow illegal aliens privilege... The tweet linked to a USA Today article.

THATS A GREAT PIECE OF SCHOLARSHIP, F462..! MAYBE THEY FORGOT Y O U R NAME ON THAT LIST, I KNOW THEY FORGOT MINE...WE SHOULD WRITE EM A NOTE ABOUT OUR CONCERNS....
HERE’S A CAPITAL IDEA....ROGER HIRES HIM AS FOX’S HOLLYWOOD LIASON ...PAY HIM PLENTY...
The Liberals own the movie distribution channels, and they use their ownership of the distribution channels to deny acess to the marketplace. There are more than one movie which was never allowed to be marketed.
James Wood in “Vampires”. Funny yet tough! He could turn out to be the new “John Wayne”. Wayne was one of the leading anti-communists in Hollywood when the reds counterattacked against conservative actors (they got Adolph Menjou blacklisted but Wayne was able to protect Ward Bond - who hated red Charlie Chaplin).
Sean Young. One of the most beautiful women in Hollywood - “Stripes”. Hope she resolves her drinking problems. We nice to me in signing autographs for my kids and myself.

I always thought that James Woods was just “some actor”... then I saw his interview where he described being on a flight with the 9/11 hijackers doing what was obviously a dry run. I figured every freeper knew this story, but nobody mentioned it in the thread yet... so here is the interview. (no extra charge for bonus footage of Michelle Malkin!).’
GREAT CHUNK OF RESEARCH ROD. YOU AND PLENTY OF OTHER SMART PEOPLE AROUND HERE.... ARE WHAT MAKE F/R THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS....AND YOU ARE 100 PERCENT CORRECT ABOUT THE M.M BONUS SHE’S BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT!
Holy Cow!
Even as english as a third or fourth language, that is pathetic!
yes, i thought it would be mentioned sooner on this thread too... i remember reading that he attended MIT, and his SAT scores were near perfect...
I don’t know his real email, surely there is an email address but a quick search did not find anything.
“Once Upon a time in America” to me, is akin to “The Godfather” and “Once Upon” seemed like a 4 hour long movie, very long, epic, but mostly worth it. “Salvador” mentioned here is an Oliver Stone film I thought so swings to the left in my view though like “Scarface”, may have entertainment value.
His film endeavors here, “Barnaby Jones” and “Kojak” among many other roles. “Any given Sunday”, I vaguely remember him as a Doctor in that movie, another Oliver Stone movie but about Football, it’s fair. There may be some other titles people recognize. Did see “Ghosts of Mississippi”, looks like Woods played the part of the culprit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Byron_De_La_Beckwith , I remember little of the movie.

He’s a typical Obama sheep.
They love the stupid ones.
She be talkin bout his ears......
a risk-taker would do that... i think he is an intelligent person who took a risk in a way... if he didn’t make it in NYC as an actor, he could have always fallen back on his college endeavors... i think he thought it through and decided to go for what he really wanted...
Thanks tcrlaf.
Will James Woods ever work in Hollywood again?
