The arrests? Because Obama was afraid of starting another revolution; that’s why there were no arrests. Is that what this stupid pinko author wants?

I have a question. How will those who habitually break the law or have no fear of the police, react to seeing no arrests. It’s okay for veterans.

I’m just trying to understand the reasoning of the social psychiatrists running the administration. There is always a motive. It isn’t just de-motivation because it is motivating the vets, truckers, etc.

Any ideas of what they are looking for?

Adventuring and experiencing, the same reason that having felt that I had done most everything I could in the preceding years, that I joined the Army later that year and volunteered for jump school and tried to get to Vietnam.

The Washington Post and the rest of the drive by media are assuming the role in America that the Volkischer Beobachter did in Nazi Germany.

Read the comments. The Republic is over.

Those Liberals would have made great Nazis.
Hateful little pricks with their Heroes in power.

That is what we have come to and I say “we” because, if the tables were turned, I’d feel the same way. (Although the wanton destruction of property the author was intending to highlight bears no resemblance to leftist anarchism)

Remember when they “occupied” the courthouse in Wisconsin because they thought Gov Walker’s election was “Unfair?” They damaged public property and crapped all over the place.

What the hell is it with these leftists? Weren’t they ever freakin’ potty trained???!!!

What has Colbert King done for this country vs. the vets who took down and moved the barricades? How did Colbert King cover the “Occupy” movement?

We don’t call them the State Owned Media for nothing. The State Owned Media will show that a dog will always eat its own vomit.

They spent tons of money to set up the Barry-cades and had more police to keep people out of the monuments than when they were open.

Name the federal law that outlaws citizens from the open grounds of the U.S. Capitol.

A crowd of demonstrators converge upon U.S. government property closed to the public. The demonstrators know that they are prohibited from entering the property. Nonetheless, they push through the metal barricades, chanting, “Tear down these walls.” That incident occurred yesterday at the World War II Memorial on the National Mall. Not confining their protest to the World War II Memorial, some of the protesters then picked up the government’s metal barricades and carried them blocks away to the White House, where the barricades were deposited outside the gates.

Question for Colbert I. King - Who do you think the "government" is? I won't embarrass you by expecting a cogent answer, I'll answer my own rhetorical question.

For your information, Mr. King, the "government" is me! It's the people sitting across from you at lunch. It's the people who spend their hard-earned money to buy your dreck "newspaper". It's the people in "flyover country" about whom you arrogantly and snobbishly demean whenever possible.

The "government", Mr. King, is your mom and dad, the guy who delivers milk to the pasteurizing facility, the man or woman driving a city bus, the people operating a convenience store or a grocery. In short, Mr. King, the "government" is every voter and taxpayer in America. WE are the government and those veterans have EVERY right to ignore the barricades to visit open air memorials that belong to every American citizen!!

When your head stops spinning from this major revelation in your life, write another column in your dreck "newspaper". Belittling you has been fun!! And WAAAAAAAYYYYYYY too easy!!

A crowd of demonstrators converge upon U.S. government property closed to the public.

That's as far as I read, I could guess what's coming.

Supposing you had a huge household, and decided that you should hire a manager to run it, since you had other things to attend to.
What would be your reaction if you discovered one day that you were forbidden to visit certain sections for any reason whatsoever.
What would be your reaction?

The U.S. Government does not "own" anything. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE DO!

We the People hire administrators to manage the People's property.

Those managers usually have a 4 year contract, and (usually) may have their contract renewed.

What part of a Representative Constitutional Democracy does this pervert not understand?

Quit digging doofus.

Comparing a commie May Day riot with war Vets trying to visit open air monuments as the result of arbitrary and capricious unconstitutional orders is just sick...

Lighten up fragile man.

Learn a little history about America and demonstrations, especially the largest arrest in American history, and reactions to them, and options that the government can take and how they may look.

Well now, Colbert I. King, don’t let a little thing like fear and common sense hold you back. You and your pals should follow your dream, go ahead and arrest them. But if you do, me and my pals will likewise follow our dreams.

Can you feel it Colbert.... can you feel the love?
