Shutdown: Bush's Fault?
CNS News ^ | October 16, 2013 | Matt Vespa

MRCTV's Dan Joseph had a question on his mind that he couldn't shake: who bears the brunt of the blame for the government shutdown? Who really is responsible for the mess we're in right now? Is it President Obama or former President George W. Bush? He decided to take these questions to the heart of our misery: Washington D.C.

Despite the fact that "Dubya" has been out of office for the past five years, most of the respondents said former President George W. Bush is to blame for the shutdown.

Come on, we all know former President Bush is also responsible for WWI and WWII, the Edsel, the Titanic’s failure to make it to NY, bad breath every morning, that missed touchdown catch last weekend in the end zone, supernova SN1885A in Andromeda, your dog’s failure to be house broken, erectile dysfunction, and somehow he’s responsible for Sarah Palin and all the bad things about her...

Yup, those folks had to put down their Obamaphones, place the EBT cards in their purses and take that poll.

And these cretins vote.

CW-II, does anyone really think it’s not coming?

Here's what then Senator Obama said in 2006. Guess the same rules don't apply today. That would be racist.

The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies - Senator Barack Obama, March 16, 2006

Forty years from now, a Leftist will be in a government-mandated “dignity facility” receiving “terminal end-of-life care”, lying in a pool of her own piss, gasping out with her last wheezing breath:

“BUSH STOLE THE ELEC-unnnnngggggnh...”

Hate never dies.

Remember Washington DC is a COMPANY TOWN and that company is BIG Government and the philosophy is making it get bigger. The highest national incomes in the US by county are 3 counties that are the bedroom communities for DC! I would suppose that you would find the average (?) worker in DC to be predominately a Democrat by affiliation and inclination.

Personally, I’d like to surround Washington DC with Barrycades, declare it a National Park, and move the entire government to a former WW2 training base where all participants live in communal barracks and eat at mess halls. All outside communication is by video links and no conjugal visits while in session. Sessions run 7 days a week until the members can’t stand each other another second! Then it requires a 2/3s majority vote to go back into session!

The truth of the matter is many are to blame. We’re seeing the inevitable result of the loss of trust. We live in perplexing times.

As the old Scout motto says: Be prepared!

Hate never dies.

You're right there. Especially irrational hatred. If you hate someone or something "for cause" that's one thing. There's nothing wrong with hatred in and of itself as a human emotion. Some things, people, and actions are deserving of hatred. But hatred for cause can be temporary. Take away, fix or counter the cause and the hatred goes away.

Irrational fear/hatred/envy however has no basis in reality and never dies. People suffering from this will make up reasons and justifications no matter how tenuous, even ridiculous, the connection.

People on the left seem particularly afflicted in regards to former President Bush and Sarah Palin. While they'll issue their venom on anyone who dares oppose them, they seem particularly addicted to coming back to Bush and Palin. In some ways it is entertaining to see what they'll be blamed for next.

Thereason for the hatred of people like George Bush and Sara Palin is because they were popular, capable political leaders who were able to present a threat to the entrenched Democrat Party and so they both were subjected to the most intense, unrelenting and viscous character assassination and misinformation campaigns the Democrats and their allies in the Media, Hollywood, Academia, Unions both here and abraod and business world could bring to bear to to destroy them .

President Bush refused to fight back to counter the media campaign because Karl Rove’s focus groups told him they didn't like the conflict and infighting in Washington thus destroying the Bush Presidency and creating the permanent damage that we see today.

Sarah Palin had the same ting done to her but Sen McCain's moronic and naive political campaign consultants who advocated an be nice and don't fight back strategy allowed her to be defined as a light weight airhead by her enemies which caused McCain to lose the Presidency and set there stages for the next several years of ridicule and political and character assassination Jihad the media has carried out on her for the last 5 years.

The same consultants gave the same Rovian make nice, don't take the fight to enemy focus group tested advice to Mitt Romney and allowed the democrats to dictate and define the message of who and what he was to the American people.

The reason the Republicans always have this happen is because of their out of touch Country Club class consultants wishy washy, sepia toned strategy of never staying on message and taking the fight to the enemy and defining who the enemy really was, who their candidate was why their candidate should be elected and why the other side's should not.

We see the end result of that strategy in this video where George Bush, a very good Presidency, allowed himself to be forever defined as the loser who is to blame for all of the problems the Democrats create.

I bet if you go onto the streets of DC they’d tell you that snakehead fish invasions, herpes II and that Johnny Depp Lone Ranger movie were ALL Bush’s fault too.

...and don’t forget EBT cards with no spending limits. Those are his fault as well.

After all, he once met with the CEO of WalMart.
