On Thursday, President Obama took to the White House podium to triumphantly announce the end of the government shutdown. In doing so, he proclaimed that he wanted to push forward with other legislative priorities, including a budget, immigration reform, and the long-stalled pork-laden farm bill. “[I]n the coming days and weeks, we should sit down and pursue a balanced approach to a responsible budget, a budget that grows our economy faster and shrinks our long-term deficits further,” Obama stated. Historically, “balanced” has been code for tax increases.

Boehner and his pals might as well be Democrats. Net result is the same.

H1-B’s need to be increased in healthcare (docs and nurses). They can fill the positions vacated as a result of ObamaCare. Additionally, where else can you get someone to work for low wages...just take a look at the VA healthcare system as a prime example. English as a second language is the norm.

Of course Beemer will cave. McAmnesty will help him of course. McAmnesty will soon jump to the Dim Party. He has been injected with acute liberalism.

Please tell me that image is photoshopped. That can’t be for real!

I am not sure if that image is photoshopped, but I do know that there is a voter registration option embedded somewhere in the process. Insane isn't it?

The smart thing to do would be to launch a very invasive investigation of the technical failures with healthcare.gov.

Subpoena as many people as possible from both the government side and contractor, get them under oath and make a spectacle out of it. Make it clear that immigration reform won’t be touched until truthful answers are provided.

Immigration reform isn’t like a shutdown or default. It’s a run of the mill legislative exercise the failure of which can only be argued to have political consequences.

Too late now for any conservatives due to the fact once govenrment legalizes 25 million more criminal illegal aliens....Its done....

Exactly right. It's checkmate for our Republic as Founded.

Studies have shown that the illegal third world scum crossing our borders:

Has on average a 6th grade education (put little value on education),

    Have over 4 children,

Strongly believe in government programs that transfer wealth,

Have no desire to embrace our culture or language,

Will overwhelmingly vote for the RAT party,

View Socialism as a "just" system.

These are the people that Rubio, Boehner, Karl Rove, the Bushes and all GOPe view as noble and wonderful.

I think the GOP will drive a tough bargain...

They will agree to open borders ONLY if the new immigrants are automatically enrolled in the Democrat Party and set up with subsidized Obamacare.

There is no deadline on the amnesty.

The numbers Ive seen are weak.

If Luis Guiterrez has only 180 Democrats and 50 Republicans that is pretty weak. Boehner will not cave every single time. There is a chance of a majority but Obama is so greedy he demands citizenship.

Also Pelosi, McCain and others have said the word conference about 100 times. They should have kept quiet.

Ive only seen 24 Republican names listed on a La Raza site. There are a lot of misinformed Republicans who think they should pass a non citizenship amnesty that keeps the jobs magnet. But they are wishy washy and are not as committed as caving on debt and other issues.

Also you have a lot of people who are more opposed to amnesty like Barrow, Rahall, McIntyre and Barletta who wanted to cave on deadline debt deals.

You should see how many times Labrador has flip flopped. Goodlatte wants to be in the good graces of the NRO crowd who picked a winning team Sessions and Vitter.

IMHO, there is no need for the House to “take up” a bill that will INCREASE America’s unemployment. America’s unemployment rate is already too high.

So I wrote the Speaker to ask him to let the Democrats wage their “War Against America’s Middle Class” all by themselves.

Why don’t you write Speaker Boehner to encourage him to pronounce the Senate’s Immigration Bill is “D.O.A.” in the House?

Remember: sugar catches more flies than vinegar...

RE :” Rep. Xavier Becerra (D-CA) said that he trusted that Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) would cave on immigration: “Once again, the speaker for the majority party is going to be placed in a position of deciding whether he's going to put country before party and get something done. We just need a few courageous Republicans to stand up and say they're ready.”
Republicans, however, pushed back. “It’s not going to happen this year,” said Rep. Raul Labrador (R-ID). “After the way the president acted over the last two or three weeks where he would refuse to talk to the speaker of the House…they’re not going to get immigration reform. That’s done.”

I tend to believe this above.
Some Dems now see Bohner as their bitch and so he will pass amnesty as he did the bill yesterday

But the attacks and insults made publicly against Bohner over the past few weeks at some times more than Cruz was getting has not put him in a mood to give Reid and Obama anything, and I bet not the others either.

Maybe Reid should have tied amnesty to the debt limit. Too late.

I hope i am right for sure

Yes, they remind me of the mayor of the fictional city in the first “Red Dawn” movie that laid down and helped the invading Soviets.

Don't bet on it. Cantor and Goodlatte are busy working on a Rep version of the Dream Act. The Reps want more guest workers, which is why they have already passed the STEM Act in the Judiciary Committee. The GOPe and many other Reps are in the pocket of their corporate paymasters., The GOP is busy building a Trojan Horse that can go to conference with the Senate.

Boehner said months ago that one of his biggest priorities was to get an immigration bill done that could be put on the President's desk by the end of December. Paul Ryan is a big player behind the scenes pushing for amnesty. Rumor has it that Boehner will not run again next year. He could care less at this point about the political blow back of putting a bill on the floor ignoring the Hastert rule.

Anyone who thinks that amnesty is not alive and well in the House doesn't understand what is happening behind the scenes. The pressure from corporations on the GOP is enormous. Big, big bucks are involved.

If amnesty passes, gun control is really irrelevant. We will lose this country thru the ballot box. It is already happening mainly due to legal immigration. Demography is destiny.
