Two quail hunters traveling near Prescott Valley, Arizona last Thursday were attacked by a bobcat. The unnamed hunters saw the adult bobcat scamper underneath their vehicle and were met with claws and teeth when they investigated. According to the Prescott Valley Tribune, the men suffered severe lacerations and puncture marks across their chest, arms, and back. The hunter who peeked underneath the car received the brunt of the assault and the cat turned on his companion when the other man tried to remove the animal. One of the hunters eventually shot and killed the bobcat.

Not that I intend to open a full can of stupid (but you did bring up co. gov’t), but wouldn’t it be better/cheaper/easier to setup a covered feeder? I presume, based on your story, they just toss it out ‘as is’....

A rapid Bobcat? Oh sure, they can run pretty fast, but they’re no cheetahs.

I didn’t say that she was allowed. She did it a few times when she was younger. Was told not to but is now amused that he remembers. And a squirt of water at a cat is not abuse or cruelty.

That is not what you posted earlier. To quote:

Right now bob thinks he’s being abused because he can’t sleep in the basement but has to sleep in the garage tonight because we have company. Poor bob.

I feel pretty sorry for your cat....gets shot with water by kids and can’t get love from his owner.

My father used to blow cigar smoke in the cat's face and it would run off. This would send my sister and me into spasms of laughter.
Smokey was an indoor outdoor cat that was not pampered like the indoor cats of today. He was put out during the day and allowed in at night

Thats Lilith found her as a kitten when her mother was hit by a vehicle. She wasn’t to fond of stranger but around the wife and I she was just like any other cat, spoiled rotten. When a 35 lb bobcat jumps on your chest wanting her morning snack you get out of bed.

I tried that once on my first cat that would get up on the kitchen counter. It just sat there with a "what the heck you doing" look on its face.........

Whenever someone threatened me physically I’d tell them “You’d do better to sandpaper a wildcat’s ass in a telephone booth.” Now you know why.
