In 2014, experts say, health care consumers are likely to face higher monthly premiums and more financial risk as deductibles and out-of-pocket limits rise.

The sticker shock will be greatest for those who already have individual insurance policies and don’t qualify for subsidies.

Compared to the health plans available now, many consumers also will be paying more next year for coverage that offers fewer choices of physicians and hospitals.

“Deductibles are going up. Premiums are going up. (Provider) networks are getting tighter,” said Vincent Blair, a health insurance broker in Webster Groves.

Has your doctor come in with a laptop that he continuously types into while you’re talking? Everything at your doctor’s office must be going into the Dictator’s database. When you leave, does the doctor give you a printout with your BMI, etc. on it? Anyone know if they intend to put our social security numbers on our wrists as ordered by the RAT leader and Congress?

Soon, a $1 monthly premium with a $1M deductible. Enjoy!

It is weirdly enjoyable to watch the LIBs/DIMs eat their s*** sandwich. Unfortunately, for the rest of us the menu only has that sandwich.

A caller on the local radio station on Monday morning said that the plan she was looking at had a $7000 deductible per year, as well as a $7000 prescription drug deductible per year. So really a $14,000 out of pocket before any coverage kicks in, plus the cost of the plan itself. I don’t remember what she said that would be.

The goal is that we citizens have no disposable income, so have to have the government take care of us. This will go a long way towards that.
