Ben Neptun and his wife Charla are furious their familys health insurance premium will be raised from $419 to $899 per month because of Obamacare.
We will absolutely go in a hole with this change, Ben said.
Ben, 36, and Charla, 34, are both home health nurses in Mobile, Alabama. They each make about $23 an hour and have spent the last year learning how to budget and recover from debt acquired in previous marriages. With a blended family of fivea 15-year-old, a 2-year-old, and a 10-month-oldBen said theres no room for several hundred dollars extra per month in their budget.
The Neptun family buys their insurance directly from Blue Cross Blue Shield and spends about $2,000 a year on health care for the family, not including the monthly premium. So when Ben received a letter from Blue Cross explaining health insurance rates were increasing to comply with the new Obamacare regulations, he was angry. The new regulations in Obamacare force healthy families like his to spend a boatload for nothing, he explained.

That’s about it in a nutshell. Well said.
Obamacare is designed to reward those who dont work by making those that do work pay more.
Redistribute the wealth.
Let the $$$ role in to the politicians in form of campaign contributions from those companies that will profit from this scam.....
Hell with the rest of the population who actually contribute to society....
Your time is over....
Demographics suggest Republicans. I need more stories about Democrats getting it between the eyes...need my Schadenfreude fix. Can’t get it watching conservatives suffer.

I think i see the problem here.
Full time employment and income that can be better used to serve welfare recipients.
These notifications of insurance price increases due to Obamacare is a free ad for Cruz Republicans.
Too bad the RNC is too stupid to use these notifications in a national ad campaign against democrats.
That was a profound scene.
The fundamental transformation of America.
The take-home message for the last five years has been no matter how destructive, inept, or lawless the administration, no one in a position to do so will lift a finger to stop it. All that stuff about “checks and balances” we learned about in school was a fairy tale.
Name me one scandal Darryl Issa has “gotten to the bottom of”. The answer of course is exactly zero.
I wonder if self-insurance is an option?
With most of these, it’s not just the premiums, but the deductibles are outlandish. $6k per covered person is what I’ve heard in some cases.
The architecture of checks and balances is there. The jerks we have elected have abandoned using it.
He would rather have a judge decide how to pay his bills.
I presume the judge will find health care payments top priority, whilst credit card / automobile / alimony obligations waivable.
An unintended consequence for sure.
Repeat this story a million times across the country.
OTOH, the couple in this story made some bad moves in their lives, divorce, debt, remarriage and all. Call Dave Ramsey.
He should look into Health Spending accounts.
That was a profound scene.
Yes, especially as you noticed that he is trying to kindly say the words that he doesn't really mean, but knowing he must say them to protect his family from being booted in the street by the lowlife parasites that have taken over his home.
How long before this happens here? They'll keep raising the insurance rates until middle class Americans can't pay their mortgage, then give their foreclosed homes to "needy" entitlement parasites.
Yes....did he vote for My Hopey Changey?
Not true, his new Obamacare policy covers his pregnancy(ies) , mental health and drug addiction treatments now.
