In a place accustomed to tough stretches, this has been a particularly tough few days at the White House.
But to CNN senior political analyst David [Rodham] Gergen, they reflect the relative inexperience of the Obama White House.
"This is an administration that has been very, very good at its politics, but has never been very good at execution of policies from Day One," he said Monday.
"It's an administration which has some really smart people in it, and a lot of younger people. It doesn't have very many heavyweights," he said.

I expect the next three years to be one step forward and two steps back replayed over and over. I believe it will very much be enjoyable. But in the way being an anti Hitler German in Berlin in early 1945 had a certain sweet taste.
It still would end up being rather painful, and for a long time. Still, every cloud has its silver lining.

All they did was: kill an Ambassador, ruin the economy, destroy the best system of healthcare that ever existed, and run guns to drug cartels in Mexico in an attempt to weaken the US Constitution.
But hey they are young Idealists, so give them a break...

Lower gas prices
End the war in Afghanistan
Close Guantanamo
End the war on terror
Decimate Al Qaeda
....oh never-mind

“White House Under Assault...” - is provided so as to gain symathy for Obama (”oh no, Obama is being assaulted!!”)
How about a more accurate headline:
“Illicit Activities and Incompetence of the Obama Administration Under Investigation (Obamacare, NSA and Benghazi), while the Deliberate Attack on the Constitutional (Fast and Furious and its Coverup) is Ignored”
NSA and other U.S. intelligence agency staff members are said to be angry at President Obama for denying knowledge of the spying. If U.S. spying on key foreign leaders was news to the White House, current and former officials said, then White House officials have not been reading their briefing books.

I think he means “smart” in the sense of a “smart” urban graffiti artist or a “smart” nipple ring designer.
They've been in the WH for five years! Gergen is such a tool.
The only thing that could get these arrogant, narcissistic egomaniacs to embarrass and humiliate themselves in public themselves by such admissions is the fact the only alternative is to go to jail.
It is typical “anti imperialist” and “anti counter revolutionaries” communist imagery of giving free science, education and weApons to the targeted radicalizing n’er do wells of society.
