WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Lindsey Graham threatened Monday to hold up all nominations for federal government positions until survivors of last year's deadly attack on the diplomatic post in Libya appear before Congress.

"Where are the #Benghazi survivors?" the South Carolina Republican said on his official Twitter account. "I'm going to block every appointment in the US Senate until they are made available to Congress."

WH —

“The administration has made extraordinary efforts to work with seven ... different congressional committees investigating what happened before, during and after the Benghazi attacks,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said. “That includes testifying at 13 congressional hearings, participating in 40 staff briefings and providing over 25,000 pages of documents.”

“Let’s be clear that some Republicans are choosing to play politics with this for partisan purposes, and we find that unfortunate,” Carney said, denying that he was referring to Graham specifically and saying it has been the case among Republicans “in general.”

Stop hiding behind Twitter - do a full fledged press conference open to reporters and take questions. Stand up and communicate with the American People about WHY you are doing this - twitter doesn't cut it

Its amazing what a primary opponent will do to a RINO like Grahamnesty.

Note that Grahamnesty always picks stuff that has little or no chance of success. Then he drops the idea doing nothing.

He talks.

Last I heard this RINO was promising to bring up the Vitter amendment requiring Congress to get on Obamacare.

He sqwawked about that for a few days then finally dropped the subject.

Anyone fooled by this guy is pretty credulous.

Always around election time, this mega-wuss digs way back in his dark celler closit and comes up with a “pair”. So small you need a very strong magnifying glass to see them. What a pathetic PUTZ!!!

You're right.

For 5+ years, the average senator can gaff off his constituents. Our framers would be screaming at the idiocy of six year popularly elected terms. Heck, the only reason our reps face voters every other year is that 18th century travel made annual elections too difficult.

This little effeminate douchebag has been a willing accomplice in fomenting the Arab Spring that has led, in large part, to the whole debacle unfolding in Libya and Egypt.

South Carolinians, do your duty and flush this turd.
