November 1, 2013 (LifeSiteNews.com) At least nine Texas abortion clinics have suspended abortions starting today after an Appeals Court reinstated key provisions of the states hotly contested pro-life law yesterday, according to reports.
The ruling came just three days after U.S. District Judge Lee Yeakel had struck down sections of the law requiring abortionists to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital and to follow FDA guidelines in administering the abortion drug RU-486.

I always said the same thing.
Praise God!
And thank you to the judge who upheld the original law. He, along with the legilators who passed it, have saved many, many babies’ lives!
Dear Father in Heaven, we pray that this ruling would stand and not be challenged again. Thank you for protecting this law which saves the lives of the unborn, as some in our country are FINALLY waking up and standing up to the abortion murderers. In Jesus name, Amen.
Thank God! ... The Almighty has done great things for us! Blessed be HIS name!
Wendy Davis plans to become governor with huge female support on a platform to reopen the Death Camps. Will Texans agree?
I’m not in Tx, but did a little research.
Abortion Barbie won her two Senate elections with 49 and 51 percent vote percentages.
It appears she is not exactly an electoral powerhouse.
I view her as a plus for our side, being a giant progressive money sinkhole in a losing cause.
“....and to follow FDA guidelines in administering the abortion drug RU-486....”
My sentiments exactly. I’m wondering if someone can explain this enigma to me.
I’ve known smart women...married women...with children who are adamantly for choice to the point that it is the ONLY issue in any election.
YOu would think, as you point out, that the clinics would welcome regulation and safety. I don’t get it. They’ve decided to close down rather than to stay open and adhere to basic guidelines.
What is the real truth here? Is it a follow the money?
If anyone can’t see that fighting abortion is almost exactly like fighting slavery. Helping people who cannot help themselves.
There are a plethra of other “things” politicians need to get their grimy, filthy hands out of across the country...
And they need to stop making up stuff to do as well...
They are ALL out of their bondaries, they know it, and the more they can keep the stoopid people, you know, the low-information voters in the dark, the better for them...
But, when you think about it, I do not believe, even if the low-info voters even knew, and understood, what absolute dunderheads they have been, would that really make a difference anyway???
Pride, and admitting you may have been wrong about simethign is a powerful deterrent to honesty, admitting your lack of knowledge, much less the virtue to come clean...Which I would appreciate more (their honesty) than someone who doesn’t have the courage to admit when they were wrong...
Liberalism reeks of pride, prejudices and all sorts of deficiencies it is almost an irreversable social condition...
Abortion advocates being right at the top of their list of people that need more shame than others...
Just my opinion...
Great news.
