‘Snowden testimony would be a disaster’
Deutsche Welle ^ | 11/02/2013 | Gero Schließ

“It would be a disaster for American-German relations if Snowden came to Germany and publicly testified before the Bundestag.” What Green MP Christian Ströbele ultimately is hoping for after his surprise visit with Edward Snowden in Moscow would be a nightmare for Stephen Szabo of the German Marshall Fund, as well for the Obama administration.

The relationship between the two countries is headed towards “a deep, downward spiral,” says Szabo. This must be stopped. If Snowden were to come to Germany with official blessing, the situation would escalate further, warns the long-time Germany expert and vice-president of the German Marshall Fund in Washington. …

“Lightbringer” is apparently a comic book personage.

Around his first fraudulent election, I recall wacky liberals describing King Barry as a “lightworker”, which they define as “any being dedicated to the cultivation of inner presence and the elevation of awareness in self and other selves.”

More correctly, King Barry should be described as a “light worker”.

If Germany-US unravels, NATO is no more.

Good going, Zero.

That’s unexpected. We were assured by the unbiased mainstream media that Obama would heal our relations with other countries, including in particular Germany (as he healed the world’s environment). Snowden is a former Obama fan who is upset at Obama personally for continuing and expanding policies that he despised. How could the media have gotten that so wrong?

There was a San Francisco columnist who also did yoga. He was the first to call Hussein a light worker..... In this case a new age type of savior, exalted being with elevated powers. Like a Dali Lama or big Hindu guru

We, the US, since the after-war years have been involved in espionage, spying and data collection and assessment.

Computers and other technology exponentially escalated our ability to gather, store and assess data in radically new computational ways, and this was not wasted on NSA and the other data miners.

We are about to open up the MegaMemory Death Star in Utah that could house and process every bit of information man has ever developed or communicated - from caveman drawings to the silly stuff my grand daughters watch on the internet - in perpetuity.

This was all good when it was against our enemies. Since the fall of the FSU, we focused on other things - economic intelligence, spying on our friends and allies to keep aprised, and in later years, the [ooga booga] War on Al Qaeda. However, Osama, we’re told is ‘dead’, and Al Qaeda is ‘on the run’. Yet the NSA keeps on spying, spying on everybody, apparently.

They and this government need to be reined in - a lot. We are not children that will keep on getting scared when we hear the government say “Baba Yaga” [aka Al Qaeda]. We have more to fear from Obama than them.

>>the moles in the system are fighting [Ted Cruz] from our side of the aisle

I saw Chris Carr, Senator Johnny Isakson’s outgoing chief of staff, speak a few weeks ago.

He spent as much or more time attacking Ted Cruz as he did Democrats.

Just to provide some grassroots backup to your assertion.

The Bundestag reps should meet with him this winter - in Stalinngrad, and I would hope that meeting would be streamed live on the interweb.

I always use the following scenario with liberals to highlight why I am a conservative:
If you had to give total power of attorney over your financial affairs, would you choose a frugal person or a free spending idiot?

I have lived there for a total of 35 years and I can tell you that a majority of Germans are very Anti- American. Some actually hate us. They have closer ties to Russia than the USA on many fronts.

You Germans helped to foist this demon upon us... I absolutely want you to expose what idiots your government and people have been. You did get some beer and music out of the deal so not all was waste. Enjoy the feast of your own making. Bring snowden in by all means. Please.

Ah, so it was Mark Morford where I saw that term.

That doesn’t surprise me.

Haven’t heard much from him lately, I was thinking that AIDS might have gotten him.

I learned something new today. You know... just a thought... but a fading actor, grown fat and happy in his ways... a man that played a cop on TV and became a cop... just might have played an intel officer in a movie and now works for the obama administration’s CIA. Anything weird and destructive is possible under the obama cabal.
