Apple co-founder and famed technology entrepreneur Steve Jobs is widely quoted for his disdain for market research. Jobs’ point was that leaders and entrepreneurs don’t start by asking people what they want and trying to give it to them. Visionaries see what the problems are that need to be solved and they deliver solutions that customers are not aware of or never dreamed of.

Political leadership is no different than business leadership in this regard. Polls reflect yesterday. Leadership reflects tomorrow.

Campaign Strategy ping. Karl Rove and his sidekick with the hairpiece Frank Luntz are being exposed as the LOSERS they are.

You would find objections to Jesus and St. Peter running on a ticket.

Who DO you support for 2016?

"We don't want Dr Carson ending up like Herman Cain, gaining a lot of support until the skeletons come out of the closet.

The skeletons are a huge part of it. Another part is when revelations come out, true or false, we have to see how the candidate handles them, before they're running for something big.

I've seen nothing that shows that Dr. Carson has brought black youth over to voting for conservatives. There have been a few elections where that could've helped. Besides that, to be blunt, are we really ready for another black as either President or VP? I think it'll be quite awhile before I am, after the stench of entitlement politics that Obama has escalated.

sounds like GOP trying too hard to play the race card
(We have a bracelet too!”)

Cruz MAY be capable of national leadership - not tested

Carson, though an impressive man, has zero experience to be one heartbeat from the US presidency. No military experience, no executive experience. Being VP is not brain surgery but unlike the democrats who managed to make brain dead Biden seem like the experience obama lacked, it would be in the true national interest to have a ticket where both candidates have shown experience to handle the politics of the various cabinets and agencies, House and Senate, and where the VP has the potus’ back

If Carson was white we would not even be talking about him

If Lee Bright beats Linda Graham ... Steve Jobs (RIP) might say it could take you places never even dreamed of ...

I see a place for Carson but not in elected office above Mayor. He’s said that the 2nd amendment needs to be restricted in urban areas where they need it the most.

I’d love to see him as mayor of Detroit where he wouldn’t have any power over gun laws here in Michigan or anywhere else.

He wants a guest worker program, which would be an improvement over what we have now.

He would most definitely get my vote if he decides to run.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. No.

I disagree with your conclusion, but your reason really shows an insight into your thought process.

You are stuck on stoopid.

Senator Cruz has my complete support. We finally have a brilliant, articulate, charismatic candidate who can advance the conservative message. This presidential cycle is going to be fascinating.

I can see Cruz at the top of the ticket, but Vice President is not an entry level job. So no on Carson.

I see. In your pathetic world, no opinion counts but yours.
Sad.
By the way, Where did you see my ‘reason’ since I did not mention it.
Sir. I know you think you must post a dissension or people will think you are stoopid. But you really should take time to think it through before posting and not confirm it..

first thing, right out of the barrel...... a self righteousist whines about the lack of Christ like conservative purity. You got Obama elected.

WTF are you talking about? Carson supports amnesty.

On the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the country, Carson says he would ”of course allow [illegal immigrants] to have a pathway to citizenship. That’s the only humane and reasonable thing to do....Deportations are the moral low road".

Unacceptable.

Yes he does. But he also supports amnesty for those who violated the law to come here and to remain here...

On the estimated 11 million illegal immigrants in the country, Carson says he would ”of course allow [illegal immigrants] to have a pathway to citizenship. That’s the only humane and reasonable thing to do. Deportations are the moral low road.”

Unacceptable. He needs to educate himself on this crucial issue.
