Please read the story in the link. It is a treatise on barbarism and LEO control par to none. What they did is inexcusable. Those involved that forced this should be executed.
What? WHAT!?!?!?
Well, on the bright side...he has a clean colon and one that has been thoroughly inspected...
But seriously...this whole situation just screams abuse of authority.
All to keep you safe in the WOD.
Par for the course for the cops in NM.
I nearly got in a gunfight with cops on my ranch -— no clue they were cops. Car unmarked. Pulled up with AR-15s and whatever pointed at me.
They were allegedly chasing “drug smugglers,” but probably just poaching elk and being dick heads.
For your pleasure.
Unbelievable — I wonder how many tears in his colon he now has??? His health may never recover.
My A$$ would tend to pucker a bit too if I were pulled over and questioned by police. Now they can assume that means I stuffed contraband up there?
Thank your friendly neighbourhood pro-drug-ban moron acquaintance who helped bring us to this state.
Knowing the boys in blue, the monsters on the police force may get an administrative leave, even if the force loses millions. At least the guy can get his pound of flesh going after the licenses of the Mengelas who cooperatied with the jack boots.
WHAT was the “probable cause”????????
Put them all on the sex-perv list too.
David’s Very Bad Terrible No Good Day.
I hope he never has to work again because of the money he is rolling in after suing the department, the hospital and each and every participant in this travesty.
The news video stated that the drug dog alerted to drugs on the drivers body - the drivers behavior was inline with known criminals having put drugs up certain entry/exit ways of the body, and with that obtained a search warrant.
Where the LEO’s should have stopped was when the X-Ray returned nothing back...if the one shown in the video was clear of foreign substances - then they should have dropped it. The LEO’s should have walked away or called in a higher supervisor to discuss the possibility of being set-up - or received false positives by the K-9. Despite behavior of grabbing one’s buttocks - people do funny things when stopped by police and in this day and age - agencies have to look at potential law suits from a public hard hit by this recession.
Maybe a law suit wasn’t the intent - but up to the point after the x-ray - nothing was seen - anal cavity search and forced enemas is not the sound way to go...
My opinion, law enforcement agencies used to require high standards during recruitment - I’ve seen those standards drop so low it’s scary....I wonder if the driver had any prior drug arrests?
but then again...the first X-ray showed nothing - then nothing should have occurred afterwards...WOW!
It wasn't just the cops - everyone involved including the doctors and staff involved at that hospital, should be sued for multi-millions so they don't do that again. Hard to believe they kept on and on.
That man had absolutely no rights as those involved took them away. If I had been him and had a gun, I would have shot everyone down the line who tried to do that. If I was on that jury, I'd also have the various doctors’ licenses revoked.
Those cops, “doctors” and judge should all be thrown into prison for a very long time. This is one of the most insane incidents I’ve ever heard of.
There’s some good in it. The man’s deductible is probably over $10,000, and doesn’t cover colonoscopy. The police state just saved him thousands of dollars.
Now lets not be too anal.
