Virginia governor's race too close to call
Fox News ^ | November 5, 2013

The polls are now closed in Virginia, and Fox News can report that Democrat Terry McAulliffe has a slight lead over Republican Ken Cuccinelli, although it is too early to call the race.

According to the latest wave of Fox News exit polls, the surprising closeness of the race can be attributed - in part - to the disastrous rollout of ObamaCare.

Virginia voters in general oppose ObamaCare by a margin of 53 to 45 percent, according to exit polls. Of those who oppose the law, 80 percent voted for Cuccinelli and 11 percent voted for McAuliffe.

It is close enough that the demonrats can manufacture enough votes.

This does make my case yet again for no early or absentee voting.
1. Open polls for 24 hours.
2. Turn in all results at the same time.
3. No same day registration
4. Require another ID even an ETB or SS card but check the numbers to ensure there is no duplication.
5. No results can be added after the precinct signs on the delivered boxes.
6. If ballot boxes are not delivered by two hours after the close of polls then none will be accepted.
7. Release no results until all votes are counted.

This would make the elections harder to rig because you could not have

How about a 3,000 vote change by county staff in the original posted early voting tally. This was in order to win by over 1,000 and then a complete effort to stop a recount and finally on the last day, hiding in a room until too late to report the vote count to the state...original vote count stands! BYE-BYE Republican!

307 votes in a small rural district of 7 registered voters?

You need to research it!

I’m watching the Detroit mayoral race out of morbid curiosity. (Both Democrats) Mike Duggan currently leading 52% to 48% with 12% reporting. Duggan is inexplicably favored to win.

The margin is going to be under 15,000 votes and the Libertarian is up around 120,000.

It’s not too close to call. Seeing as how there’s a 400 vote difference with around %87 of precincts reports and considering that there are still 50+ Fairfax County precincts left to report, Cuccinelli loses, primarily due to the Libertarian sucking over 100k votes from his totals.
