State Republicans say Hagan misled the public when she tried to sell the healthcare overhaul to North Carolinians in a 2009 speech on the Senate floor.
"People who like their insurance and their doctors keep them," said Hagan then.
The North Carolina GOP says Hagan should be held accountable for promises she made about the Affordable Care Act.
"When you come out in very absolute terms, 'You can keep your doctor,' period. 'You can keep you plan,' period," said N.C. GOP Chairman Claude Pope. "That's a pretty absolute statement, and for them to make those statements knowing that they were false before they made them, I think is a travesty, and it's an outright deception."

You mean will Hagan be affected by the fake “I’m sorry that you feel bad about what I did to you personally and the nation, but don’t get me wrong I am not sorry at all, I just have to say the word ‘sorry’ because the focus group gurus told me I had to”?
Every race where a democrat voted for that clustersf$*k should have the emphasis of the republican advertising based on that poor judgement. After all, elective office is the act of “hiring” a person for the benefit of their judgement. The fact that democrats as a party displayed such poor judgement by enacting ACA, and then repeated poor judgement by denying its delay to the point of shutting down the government, is a testament to the idea that they have voided the trust placed in them by the voters and deserve to be sent back home to fail in a far less consequential way.
