The White House is "as sorry as we can be" that a Washington state woman held up as an example of the success of the Affordable Care Act marketplaces appears to be falling through the cracks, press secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday.
In mid-October, President Obama cited single mother Jessica Sanford as an exchange success story after she wrote to him after being able to sign up for insurance in early October. She's since learned that her state's system miscalculated her tax credit and that her out-of-pocket costs will be substantially higher than expected.

So now that she is screwed by the system they are hanging their hat on the fact that this woman is STILL a supporter of Obamacare.
Sounds more like battered spouse syndrome than a successful than an informed enrollment.
That’s great; BUT:
DO NOT let them get away from “renaming” this ACA or Affordable Care Act.
ACA takes the “affordable” part out PURPOSELY, and, obviously they don’t want it called 0bummercare anymore.
Call it Obamacare which is what it is!
LOL! 86,000 of which have enrolled in Medicaid! Do you think that is something to brag about? Medicaid is a welfare program. Since when is more people needing welfare a good thing? Do you also brag about the number of people needing help after a hurricane? Do you think that a disaster is a good thing? You and your fellow travelers are truly sick.
The dingbat volunteered for her name to be used. Someday these people will realize that if you lay down with these dogs, you’re gonna’ get fleas. I think even the Clintons figured it out.
They’ve put out the word that the word “obama” and “care” are not to be spoken in the same sentence. It WILL be called AFFORDABLE CARE. But obama won’t be calling it anything. He’s been told to shut the hell up. They feel safer having Biden out flapping his lips and plugs.
How dishonest does Carney have to be to stand up there day after day and support this regime?
I would have quit within months of working for Obama.
Don't shoot the messenger or anything! Are you OK???
In this case the messenger seems to agree with the propaganda that he is spreading. Welfare sign ups are not Obamacare sign ups.
Actually, the ad (that’s what the article is, an ad) doesn’t even claim to have signed the people up for Obamacare, it claims that Obamacare has brought about coverage for all these people. It doesn’t mention that it brought about the coverage by forcing them off of their old insurance.
Try reading the article in the WSJ, today, about how Obamacare in WA State forced her mother onto Medicaid.http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702303531204579207724152219590?mod=Opinion_newsreel_1
Agreeing with propaganda? I don’t get it. Posting a link is agreeing with propaganda? Sorry, I messed that in the FR terms of service. What on earth makes you think I feel it is a good thing someone was forced off their insurance? You’re nuts. I think you’re off your meds bigtime.
Steve, give it up, I got the Move-On email, too.
