Yep, he made his connections and now is set. I saw him on Fox the other day and wanted to throw something at my tv.
It’s one big club in DC. Once you get elected you’re golden. If you lose an election, you rotate into another branch of the club using your connections to lobby and generate business.

No wonder Stupak is no longer welcome in the UP of MI. I well remember another Democrat running for state office stopping by in 2010 to greet. Well OK, if we accept the argument that Health Care is a right a much stronger case can no be made to keep government out of it as this government exists to limit our access and our ability to exercise our rights.
Further, if we buy (actually we are being FORCED) into this health care by government nonsense because it is a right then damn it I want the government to GIVE ME A GUN, A BIG freaking GUN. As I have a right which is actually spelled out in the Constitution whereas the right to health care is NOT.
That’s because he isn’t running and needs the crumbs the Dems can send him.

Typical Democrat - notice how he FEELS that health care should be a right, as opposed to thinking. To a socialist, thinking is obsolete; it’s feelings, the emotion, that’s important.
N.B.: A right is the sovereignty to act without permission of others, a privilege is something one is permitted to do as a result of special status, that others lacking the status are not permitted to do, and an entitlement is something someone gets, that others must pay for. (It feels like I should define “health care” and “insurance” too, because those terms are also misused.)
Obamacare isn’t health care, and even if it were, it wouldn’t be a right but rather an entitlement. Words have meanings, and intentionally misusing words is called lying.
