Former White House press secretary under President Bill Clinton and frequent MSNBC guest, Dee Dee Myers, is not accepting MSNBC host Martin Bashir’s apology after he intimated last week that former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin should be subjected to gruesome and graphic slavery-era punishments involving human excrement. Meyers said that the comments mean that it’s time for MSNBC and Bashir to part ways.

“Honestly,” Myers wrote in a tweet on Wednesday, “where do such thoughts even come from.” She tweeted the hash tag “#GotToGo” before linking to an Associated Press story which noted that the network’s executives have not yet specified whether they believe Bashir’s apology was sufficient.
On Monday, Bashir apologized for a commentary segment broadcast last week in which he listed a variety of graphic punishments to which mid-18th Century enslaved Africans in Jamaica were subject. He said that Palin “would be the outstanding candidate” to also be subjected to those punishments after she equated America’s national debt with enslavement.
Myers frequently appears on MSNBC’s Morning Joe and Now with Alex Wagner, but is not an official contributor with the network.

For those who don’t recall, Dee Dee went round and round through the media circus after a highly-publicized DUI. My guess is she’s genuinely upset that Sarah Palin was treated in such a horrible manner by Bashir.
The man apologized. Let him sit there in his stink.

Actually, he should never have been hired in the first place. Same goes for the rest of the obnoxious trash working on MSNBC. Besides firing all of them, the jackasses who hired them should also be fired and blackballed. Thanks 2ndDivisionVet.

I have never seen PMSNBC, never will. Let them make an ass of themselves, as I doubt that they have any viewers that are not Marxist anti American morons. I would say the same for the Commie News Network.
Let’s be honest....a total of four hundred Americans watched Bahir make the comment. There were likely 800,000 watching the cartoon network at the time, and perhaps 3.2 million watching Fox News. It’s hard to get excited about something that nobody watches.
Fortunately, FOX is the only US news that I can get on my dish.
Most of my US news, however, comes from FR :)

She did ask a good question, didn’t she? I often wonder where the dark thoughts and statements of some people come from. Bashir’s statement made me jump in shock!
Driving home from work this week, someone on the radio (Sean, maybe?) eviscerated the thought that now “slave” is the new “N” word. We can no longer say “wage slave” or “my boss is a slave driver.” Orwell lives.
The minds of leftists and liberals are full of all sorts of vile, hateful, spiteful thoughts Dee Dee. You've been around them more than long enough to know that, firsthand.
If he keeps his job with not even suspension, expect somebody to try to outdo this level of repulsion. Maybe go on SNL with a Miley Cyrus type skank. The goal will be to make news.
The reason this is a news story is obvious - it’s man bites dog... Most liberals are as horrible as Bashir.
Notice how none of them except Dee Dee have come forward and objected? Not that we expected them to - we know what they are ...
If you don’t hate liberals, you’re just not paying attention.
Judging by how often we hear about PMSNBC gaffes, and how few viewers they actually have, I’m guessing that a large chunk of the viewers are conservatives like us, looking to catch them saying something outrageous. Myself, the only time I even TRIED to watch them was during the brief period in 2003 when Michael Savage had a program on the network. Anybody remember that, and how quickly he got booted off for heckling a gay caller?
