Sad news. FReeper fatrat has passed away.

Received word from his son yesterday that FReeper fatrat (David Diamond) has passed away. His son said his father loved FR. He was a Vietnam vet and patriot.
From the Patriot Guard page:
Dave was a veteran of the US Navy, having served two tours in Vietnam as a corpman to the Marines in the field. He was what's called a mustang, advancing from Hospital Corpsman to Chief Petty Officer, then commissioned as a Medical Service Corps Officer, where he retired as Lieutenant Commander. Most recently, he enjoyed motorcycling, RVing, traveling, and spending time with his granddaughter. He also performed numerous volunteer missions as a member of The Patriot Guard Riders and served as an Acting Ride Captain for the Picayune area.

I didn’t know him, but it’s painful that yet another Patriot and FReeper has passed away. Lancey Howard’s death blew me away and I still miss him every day.
My sincerest condolences to fatrat’s family and friends. RIP and Semper Fi.
