A stunning 40 percent of the staff at the state agency that oversees the glitch-plagued, befuddling $69 million Obamacare website earn six-figure salaries, according to payroll numbers obtained by the Herald.
Some 21 of the 53 employees at the Massachusetts Health Connector make more than $100,000 a year, even as Bay Staters struggle to sign up for health care through a website beset by slow speeds and technical difficulties and a call center with frequently long hold times.
Topping the list is Executive Director Jean Yang, who is pulling down $179,243. Chief Operating Officer Roni Mansu earns $178,415, while General Counsel Edward DeAngelo makes $175,621. Chief Information Officer Scott Devonshire makes $164,545, and Director of Business Development David Kerrigan brings in $164,545.
And those figures don’t include fringe benefits.

Those seem in line with typical salaries at government contractors.
To be honest, a little low. Most BD directors I know earn over 200k per year
No one will care or hold them accountable
Do we at least get to fund their generous pensions?
The people I know who are loyal to o care and etc. pour vitriol on insurance executives for how much they make and the percentage of premiums which go to ACTUAL HEALTH CARE.
This government boondoggle is FAR WORSE. Millions and billions for the overhead of o care which does NOT go to patient care, and it is paid by tax money.
The fat cats get fatter, people get less health care.
Actually this is a great argument against single-payer. Bureaucrats become “the WEALTHY!” from premium money and tax money. I am going to remember to use this example when people complain about insurance companies — which at least are subject to regulation and competition.
These fat cats are indeed responsible to no one, not the market, not the patients.

Probably most of these staffers are affirmative action grads, crony, minority appointments, thus explaining the poor performance.

They are nothing more than entitlement recruiters and voter registration bundlers. They are also there to give that extra personal touch and funnel ‘rich’ white people into the plans that are most expensive.
Just another small part of the left’s huge wealth redistribution scheme. Everything they do plays in some way into wealth redistribution.
