He was taken into custody after showing up to take a look at a serious car accident on Main Street. A volunteer firefighter noticed the mayor looked drunk, according to police, and notified law enforcement. Jenkins was arrested on the spot.~snip~

“N-word” is just a state of mind in that it doesn’t matter who’s been handcuffed. It has more to do with the process by which a person ends up in handcuffs.

The village's mayor, clerk, judge and 3 of its 5 trustees are African-American.
Monticello is five minutes away from White Lake, which is where the Woodstock Music Festival was held in 1969 on Max Yasgur's farm.
Woodstock the event happened nowhere near the actual town of Woodstock - the venue changed several times before the event but the name remained the same.

The People of Monticello elected him, Obviously this is what they want in a Mayor.
His lawyer said he wasn’t acting drunk. If he wasn’t then this is his normal way of acting. If that’s what they want I think it’s fine.
Correct. However, the real winner of any election in Monticello is whoever wins the Democrat primary.
It’s that way in many Democrat sections of this country.
It is why Maryland is stuck with a Baltimore numbnuts and a Bridge troll as it’s Senators.
