Biden: 'I've Never Found' Women in Workforce to Be 'Kinder and Gentler' Daniel Halper December 3, 2013 7:26 AM

Vice President Joe Biden says that women are not "kinder and gentler" in the work place than men.

"I've never found that to be the case," Biden told a Japanese audience. "They're as tough, they're as strong, they're as everything as a man is - and vice-versa."

Via the Associated Press:

At a roundtable later with business executives, Biden said he'd heard some say women are good in the workforce because they are kinder and gentler.

"I've never found that to be the case," Biden said to laughter. "They're as tough, they're as strong, they're as everything as a man is - and vice-versa."

The vice president is in Asia this week for an official state trip, where he's also expressed concern about China's recent activities:

Vice President Joe Biden says the U.S. is deeply concerned about China's attempt to unilaterally change the status quo in the East China Sea.

Biden says China's declaration of a new air defense zone has raised regional tensions and increased the risk of accidents and miscalculation.

True story. Women can be ruthless in the workforce. The amount of back stabbing is limitless.

Well, has anyone had a hit single titled “Evil Man”? Or made a film called “Mean Boys”?

I found that out up close and personal with a wacko female IT supervisor that I honestly think was deranged.

She darn near succeeded in driving me to a nervous breakdown. Most everyone seemed satisfied with my work and would tell her to her face. She tuned that out apparently. Every day, usually a few times, I got snapped at, glared at, chewed out (legitimate or not), accused of all kinds of things and generally made miserable.

I took a lower paying but for most part better job outside of state gov. Besides I wasn’t going to get any kind of reference. After a while I went into contract work and later I got a very good support job that pays more than her state gig. I heard she left for a job at TD bank. I feel sorry for any males and conservative females that inherited that fat, ugly hag.

Wow. What guts. He will not equivocate.
He will flip or flop depending on which way the wind is blowing.

I’m a woman and supervised up to 100 women at a time. Men were so much easier to work with. Women are awful, always starting junk with each other. I’d rather herd rattle snakes.

Just curious, when was Uncle Joe ever a member of the private sector workforce?

Your story is all too true. I work IT in a private company at the moment, but I know females in IT tend to congregate to management instead of skill areas. I’ve had female managers and a lot of them have a chip on their shoulders.

Ha ha! You’re right, that settles it, men ARE superior to women!

Wow. I agree with Biden about something (in general, of course). Problem is, they are that way because they need to be in order to have the men trust them to be tough managers. The stereotypes of women operate even when the women are promoted. If they didn’t act like Wanda the Witch, they would be thought of as cream puffs.

We women who worked for women bosses understood that and gave them slack on it. Only the very few horrible true witches were disliked.
