Majority of 18-24 Year Olds Support Recall of Obama from Office

These are bad numbers. Really, really bad.

What is interesting about the Harvard University’s Institute of Politics millennial poll is that it subdivides older millennials (25-29) from younger millenials (18-24). And it’s the latter group that is more predictive and its verdict is wholly negative.

There’s more support among 18-24 year olds for recalling Obama from office, than for recalling their member of Congress or even all members of Congress– at a time when Congressional approval ratings have hit record lows.

Obama’s approval rating among young Americans is just 41 percent, down 11 points from a year ago, and now tracking with all adults. While 55 percent said they voted for Obama in 2012, only 46 percent said they would do so again.

57 percent of millennials disapprove of Obamacare, with 40 percent saying it will worsen their quality of care and a majority believing it will drive up costs. Only 18 percent say Obamacare will improve their care. Among 18-to-29-year-olds currently without health insurance, less than one-third say they’re likely to enroll in the Obamacare exchanges.

Republican and Democratic leaders should find little solace in the results. The survey said that 33 percent of young Americans consider themselves Democrats and 24 percent identify with the GOP. The largest and growing segment is among independents, 41 percent of the total.

Young blacks say they are much less likely to vote in the 2014 midterm election than they were in November 2009, signaling a worrisome level of engagement among a key Democratic constituency.

The Obama Revolution is over.

The Obama Revolution is over. Bit of a broad brushstroke here. Remember, Hitler had undying followers, and they amounted to a large portion of Germans at the time; maybe not a plurality, but at least 1/4 of the people. It only took those citizens along with a "father" of the nation and legions of armed "staff" to embroil an entire continent in war for almost a decade. Millenials will only bitch when they can't text or post to Facebook or tweet to Twitter or get their free crap.

And yet Republicans will still manage to snatch Defeat from the jaws of Victory.

LOL. The next D candidate will make them even better promises, and they’ll revert right back to Pavlov’s dog.

I know a 68 year old that supports his recall as well.

These are bad numbers. Really, really bad.

What's really, really bad is apparently that many people think you can recall a president or a member of Congress.

I believe this is misleading. Every "independent" I've ever met is a Dem and/or votes Dem. Without exception.

Der ObamaFuhrer ist kaput. I made sure I did not say deceased. English translation - The Obama (dictator - leader) is broken. The 1000 year Obama Reich is collapsing. Soros did not remember what happened to the third reich.

Re: the bar graph: Notice how drastically the number drops when people have to make a decision on recalling “their” Congress critter? It goes back to the old adage: “He’s a rascal, but, he’s our rascal.”

Maybe. One can support a lot of things that one knows will never happen.

Start the recall or start a revolution.
____________________________________________________________I’m down for either one. Is it Constitutionally possible to recall a President? I honestly don’t know. (Guess I need to brush up on my Civics/Government.)

There we have it! A word that we can use instead of impeachment, something that everybody understands. When a product is broken, it is recalled. I will tell everyone I know that Obama needs to recalled.

Ummm... I know they’re probably speaking figuratively,
but there’s no provision for “recall” of a president.
