White House press secretary Jay Carney admitted today that President Barack Obama’s aides deceived the public when they said the president had never met his illegal immigrant uncle in Boston.
“Thank you for the question,” Carney told Fox News’ Ed Henry, before admitting that staffers misled journalists at the Boston Globe who asked in 2010 if Obama had ever met his uncle, the illegal immigrant.
“Back when this arose, [White House staff] looked at the record, including the president’s [autobiographical] book, and there was no evidence that they had met… and that was what was conveyed” to the public, Carney said.
However, he quickly added, “nobody spoke to the president.”
Carney said he corrected the error after Obama’s Kenyan uncle claimed this week during an immigration hearing that the president had stayed with him in Cambridge, Mass.
“I thought it was the right thing to do to go ask him… and the president said that he, in fact, had met Omar Obama when he moved to Cambridge for law school, Carney said.
“The president has not seen Omar Obama in 20 years and has not spoken with him in roughly 10 years,” he added.

When was the last time our president has spoken to that other illegal alien family member of his, Aunt Zetuni I wonder.
How many other Illegal Kenyan family members scattered across the USA has our president abandoned?

So some little staffer makes a mistake about the “One”. Let us pretend that is true. If so the Prez allowed the lie to stand. He never corrected the mis-statement. To me that is still lying.
Recall the story of Odysseus in the cave of the cyclops Polyphemus. Odysses told Polyphemus that his name was ‘Noman.’ When Odysses and his men blinded Polyphemus, the cyclops was yelling ‘Noman blinded me!’ So his cyclops relatives shrugged it off, thinking he was OK.
As usual, ‘Noman’ told (here, asked) Obama nuthin, so we (the WH) are being upfront admitting *they* (those underlings, again) deceived the press/public, but it was unintentional, so there it is: Noman is at fault, once again.
See how clever that is?
Besides the supposed wife and two kids does this guy have any LEGAL relatives living in the USA that we know of?
I have hardly heard of a single person step forward from this guys past let alone a family member...
Why should they. The default operating instruction is "Lie."

Can’t blame Obama - when your whole life is built on lies, it can be hard to keep them all straight.
Aunt Zetuni and Uncle Omar should be deported. With that being said, there were all the stories about Zetuni being in public housing, no food, No money, no transportation. Nice nephew you got there, Zetuni!
Another lie of omission. Obama and his aides lied.
Documents have just been discovered showing that obama has not talked to anyone in his administration or staff since his first inauguration.
And, of course, the prez never thought it important to correct the convenient error.
