Is Obama the police commissioner of NYC? He is masterful at always saying it is someone else’s fault.

Follow through with logic they are deploying: If you open the door of a bank for a guy who then robs it, then you will be charged with robbing the bank, not the robber.

I’m sure they must have tazed the man with no effect first, right? Then the pepper spray didn’t work on him either? Then he must have assaulted half of the NYPD when they tried to subdue his resistance to arrest. It’s no wonder they had to charge him for creating the situation where innocent bystanders were struck by the frantic spray of bullets that were necessary to stop this deranged lunatic from knocking down buildings and eating all the tourists.

Corrupt law enforcement agencies and the corrupt DA’s and corrupt courts do this frequently. There was a case a few years ago where a drunk cop rushing to a scene caused a wreck and killed the other person, and they charged someone else with killing the person that the drunk cop murdered. Did I mention that the cop was driving drunk?

Thanks for the help with my diet. Seriously, I won’t be able to keep any food down for the next three days after seeing that picture.

Sounds like an attempt by NYPD to preempt lawsuits by the bystanders.

The can apply a kind of doctrine of vicarious liability to this and people don’t use it to sue pukes like Oprah Winfrey who state publicly that it’s a good thing that white folks should just die? The teams of Knockout Game players hear her and others like Obama himself blaming “white folks” for various shades of evil.

If I was an innocent bystander wounded by police gunfire in this incident, I’d be suing NYC in a New York minute. This is disproportion use of deadly force and the cops who did this should be fired and do some “correctional” time.

Sounds like a way to get him help for his mental condition and to keep him off the streets, where he creates havoc for other pedestrians and for drivers. The ACLU won’t let him and others similarly afflicted be locked up in mental institutions due to their mental/emotional condition only, but if he’s convicted of a crime, he can be given the treatment he needs.

I think that the bigger problem is that the police aren’t charged. They may be the one’s who need help for their mental conditions and to be kept off the street given that the havoc that they are creating is demonstrably worse.

The big surprise for me is that they didn’t charge the innocent bystanders who were shot by the cops for interfering with law enforcement for “intercepting” bullets they wanted to put into the unarmed man. No...seriously. We’ll see that eventually.

Next up, when they shoot someone’s dog, charge the owner with animal cruelty for making them shoot it.

Not much different than charging the get away driver for the injury or deaths of others during a bank robbery.

One thing missing is criminal intent. The getaway driver knows he's part of a crime. The mentally disturbed person, at least in this case, isn't consciously aware that he's committing a crime.
