The list of who is doing this will be there when the Next POTUS takes office.
I expect the next AG to chop heads, and the POTUS should defund them bigtime.

Serial criminals are running our Tax offices. Not good for America.

I used to think abolishing the IRS was a pie in the sky fantasy, but now it has become an imperative as its function has gone far beyond a mere tax collection agency to one more akin to the German Gestapo.

No governmental body should have the right to wantonly threaten the livelihoods (and freedom) of innocent civilians, especially when its agents demonstrate they have no interest in complying themselves with the law in order to pursue a radical leftist/totalitarian political agenda.

It MUST go if we are to restore this country and the constitutional rights of its citizenry.

I remember Sean Hannity speaking about 6 years ago that he was going to not only pay the tax that he owed but he would purposely overpay. He saw this kind of thing coming.

That’s a good rule. I do the same as I never “walk the razor’s edge” in doing my taxes.

To shave a little money off your income taxes may result in an audit which will cost you dearly in mental stress and outlay of much more money than you “saved.”

There is no need to “poke a stick at the tiger”...especially the one that is exempted from all laws and in which you have to prove your innocence instead of them proving you are guilty.

The Gestapo is the appropriate name for the IRS. Now other agencies have joined the Gestapo such as the TSA, EPA, and numerous other UNREGULATED government agencies.

Just a word to the wise.

he voted for Obama’s re-election in 2012 because of the president’s comments about people being able to keep their plans, doctors and hospitals.

It is easy to believe a lie, the truth will cost some extra effort.

Furthermore, the IRS will not be interviewing Elliott until April 2014, according to the letter. In an interview with The Washington Times, Elliott said, “to me, it’s a scare tactic,” explaining he views the letter and the delayed interview as an attempt to silence him and his outspoken stance against President Obama and his healthcare law.

Well, his eyes are open now.

While I am against the illegal use of the IRS by this (or any) administration, something doesn't look right here. It says that Tucker recieved his notice the same day as Elliott. However it shows the IRS notice to Tucker - it is DATED Nov 25, which means he couldn't have received it that day. Further, it is NOT a notice for new taxes due, it is money he still owes from 2003 on his business' payroll taxes - he obviously has arranged to pay in installments and this is just his monthly bill.

Elliott getting his notice is an obvious retaliation move and should be investigated and punished, but Tucker's is not. He owes back taxes (and since it is payroll taxes, that means he withheld it from his employees and didn't pay it to the IRS).

Flame away, but part of this appears to be just a monthly bill.

You cannot criticize the incompetent inept leader of the despot American Government.

It even happens at the local level. I found several discrepnancies in the governmental accounting enterprise funds accessed to pay general fund liabilities. I pointed them out, suddenly I started having difficulties with building permits for a new roof, siding and windows on the house. the Good Ole boys club has strived to silence the opposition when the problems are significant. By the way the roof, siding and windows are done by several people who said enough of the bs from local politicians. Come january 3 of the 5 local politicians are gone.

Enough is Enough – Update on C. Steven Tucker

Here’s the latest, hold onto your hats.

Earlier today an IRS agent sat in C. Steven Tucker’s living room and warned him that he should resolve the 2003 underpayment discrepancy as soon as possible because he could potentially have wage garnishing, a house lien or a seizure of assets.

Tucker was first informed of this dispute by letter on or about Thanksgiving.

The exhaust fumes from the government vehicle had barely dissipated from his driveway when a certified letter arrived informing him that all of the above was indeed going to happen if he didn’t send the money by December 19th.

This might be a coincidence, however:

Beginning with the Kennedy administration’s Ideological Organizations Project, which investigated, intimidated, and challenged the tax-exempt status of right-wing foundations, Mr. Andrew traces the ways Democrats and Republicans alike used the IRS to accomplish political goals during the 1960s and early 1970s. Seemingly innocuous names like Operation Leprechaun and Project Tradewinds, together with an array of intelligence and surveillance activities, formed a pattern of abuse that threatened the foundations of American political culture. In one of the most powerful and sobering passages of the book, Mr. Andrew chronicles the IRS’s Special Service Staff, which carried out activities that were more extensive and intrusive than Nixon’s infamous Enemies List—yet received scant coverage in the media.

I steal a comment from your link:
With over 70,000 pages of tax code, their is no way anyone can possibly understand or be in full compliance of them.

With unlimited surveillance and access to data, those in power can target and find violations on anybody they want at any time for any reason.

A simplification of the tax code is overdue to say the least.

Obama will most likely give blanket immunity to any criminal actions.
But then, in doing so it will be an admission of knowledge about the crimes.
But then, who really cares from the GOP enough to do anything.

It all makes me so angry.
