A New Jersey waitress who raked in thousands in donations after claiming a couple didn’t tip her because she’s gay was fired from her job on Saturday.
Dayna Morales, 22, was finally canned from Gallop Asian Bistro in Bridgewater — nearly a month after she made national headlines over what’s likely a hoax.

Exactly! This crime had victims! Namely the defamed couple.
That restaurant would still be on my “Do Not Patronize” list for a long time. They stuck with her, even when she was obviously trying to bait customers into saying something negative. Let’s see, she dresses like a boy, has a boy’s haircut, wear’s a boy’s clothing. Now she’s insulted and hurt because someone said they thought she might actually be a boy? That’s under the catagory of Shopping For Trouble. The restaurant remains as morally stained as does MSNBC even after the unctuous Martin Bashir left. The station’s silence implies consent and agreement.
What could the restaurant owner do? If he fired her prematurely he would be sued for discrimination? Can’t win for losing and if I owned a business I would be on my knees praying I did not hire a person that would not do something like this!
Everyone’s a loser in this because of one crazy attention whore.

One of my sons is working his way thru college as a “server.” (hipsters apparently don’t call themselves anything as sexist as “waiters” or “waitresses”). He said where he works, the servers make a point of making themselves invisible, more into providing service than even being noticed by customers.

I don't give a crap who she sleeps with, I'm more concerned that she slandered a nice couple who gave her a good tip. Nobody wants that to happen to them, too.

I don’t know what’s worse, her or the better-than-thou gang on this thread who want to personally stomp her in various ways. In this holiday month, sometimes actual Christ principles get hurled out the window and the shallowness is really palpable.
