He means from the Left (proletariat) of course. Notice the word he never used? Hint: It rhymes with Snow-bama-fair.

This fool slept through the Tea Party. But it’s coming again, times a thousand.

Whatever the reason, at some point I believe the status quo in our politics and economics will no longer be acceptable to a large part of our country, and because the existing institutions are unresponsive, these agents of change will rise up in some way and very loudly and clearly say "enough is enough." And I think this will be a very good thing if it is done in a forceful and non-violent way.

1a) Liberalism does not work. All the evidence is in, and the Left has failed. The existing institutions are unresponsive. The government will not help you -- the government only helps itself. When the people say "enough is enough" they will be rejecting the Left.

1b) I'm pretty sure this guy meant this as an attack on Conservatives and an explanation of why Conservatives have failed.

2) I have no idea what a "a forceful and non-violent way" would look like.

Let’s make it simple for ABC, the unrest is because we have had it with the federal government dictating how we must live our lives while the constitutionally elected government allows the unelected government to enslave us. We will not allow that. Clear ABC?

I think I said it best:

“A people unwilling to use extreme violent force to obtain or preserve their liberty deserves the tyrants that rule them.”

This means both parties, we are getting just what we deserve and they are not gonna just walk away from stealing our wealth and with it our liberty.

No significant improvement in their financial situation.
With Democrats in power for the last five years it’s expected.
Not one of Obama’s acts have helped they only fed the good old boy club.

He’s calling for even more communism. Since it hasn’t worked yet, more would be terrific to this clown.

Yes, he never used the word, but tried to cleverly (in his estimation) allude to it.
Recently polling shows these young Americans (along with other citizens) have gone from overwhelmingly supporting President Obama to now incredibly upset about another politician who said one thing and did another. And the economics and dreams of their own life has been set back once again. …
Problem is, the entire presidency of Obama has been about saying one thing and doing its opposite, apart from the promise with respect to the “fundamental transformation of” the country.

A United States 'Spring' Coming?

Yep. This time it's called the "TEA Party". The people are figuring out they're being used as nothing but tax slaves to keep the politicians living in absolute power and luxury.

He just woke up after a 6 year sleep.

Of course he means the proletariat. They have been incited to this by obastard telling them for the last 6 years how unfairly treated and entitled they are.

Sow the wind and reap the whirlwind.

Whatever’s on its way, you can safely bet your last nickel the communist propaganda television networks will be the last to notice the obvious.

The Occupy Wall street tantrum was supposed to be the American spring as well.

An astonishingly naive piece from one of Dowd's political antecedents - this is, after all, the same fellow who helped run the Bush-Cheney campaign in '04. I don't believe he understands the nature of the Arab "Spring" - that would be the one that led to Sharia in Libya and threatened to do so in Egypt - if he conjures up similar conditions in the United States, at least at the present time.

Marx must be giggling in Hell - the middle class is not the wellspring of revolution, indeed, it is the biggest bulwark against it, which was why Marxists need it to be marginalized before it was wiped out. 0bama and his merry band have made considerable "progress" along that line in their insistence on redistribution of wealth, especially but not exclusively through 0bamacare. Dowd needn't look very far for that source of middle-class discontent, which is only now starting to bite. Misdirecting the passion away from the truly guilty is a media specialty of the moment. It isn't bankers and Wall Street who have just commandeered one-sixth of the nation's economy, it's the government, stupid!

The highly sensationalized shootings Dowd cites are a case in point with respect to this misdirection. Far from being canaries in his coal mine, they have had nothing to do with any sort of political discontent and everything to do with out-of-control, deeply disturbed mental patients. There's no Spring there.

There are, to be sure, certain very identifiable sources of discontent within young people: the government-controlled student loans market, the government-controlled mortgage arena, the government-controlled employment shortage, and now the government-controlled expropriation of health care. Notice the commonality?

If there is to be any sort of Spring, by which Dowd apparently means a mass movement in the streets, it is likely to be pointed at the above, and its name is Tea Party, and its likely direction will be to sweep establishment political types of both parties aside, and that means our Mr. Dowd.

for people in this country who have been ignored, misled, and forgotten about

For the countless confused, accused, misused, strung-out ones and worse,
And for every hung-up person in the whole wide universe.
