On a somewhat related topic. In addition to a volunteer fire company, my town has a volunteer Ambulance squad in the same building.

Most of them have full time jobs and pull 12 hours shifts 1 day / week.

What will this do to them?

I know of an instance in 2009 where a volunteer EMT was denied unemployment because of only one call and a stipend of $60 in one month.

I was talking to a co-worker today. He's a good person, but a low information voter, semi-liberal, and doesn't see what the fuss is about over ObamaCare. He's also a volunteer fireman, VP of his fire company. When I told him that this might happen he was pissed.

I have a feeling ObamaCare is going to reach out touch a lot of lives in a bad way. Conservatives need to be on message and wake some people up.
