Des Moines – Election misconduct charges were recently filed by Muscatine County Attorney Alan R. Ostergren in two potential cases of voter fraud in Muscatine County.

Charges of election misconduct in the 1st degree were filed against Mayra Alejandra Lopez Morales of Muscatine and Sylvia Rada of Muscatine on December 4, 2013. Lopez Morales and Rada are accused of registering to vote and voting in the 2012 general election while being non-citizens.

"I want to thank County Attorney Ostergren for taking election integrity seriously," Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz said. "Every vote can make a big difference and Iowans expect nothing less than fair and honest elections."

The Iowa Secretary of State's office referred the potential voter fraud cases to Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) to investigate. After the investigation, DCI then referred the potential voter fraud cases to Ostergren for prosecution.

Fixed that. They broke the law in America and they are not citizens. F'n liberals in Iowa. I really have to wonder why they primary so early.

I was driving for Trailways during the ‘08 election. “Activists” put a group of about 20 Spanish speaking people aboard my bus in Iowa City on election day headed for Ill. with pictographic instruction sheets on how to vote. I assume they had already been to the Iowa polls.

“and you drove them? Why?”

They had tickets. It would have been illegal to refuse them and probably would have turned into a great propaganda opportunity for the activist group. I emailed the Iowa Republican party later. Never even got a reply.

The claim is that the NSA is tracking the locations of cell phones world wide.

If they wanted to they could name the owners of every cell phone that visited multiple polling places on election day, and tell us how long they spent at each one.

If they wanted to.

“If they wanted to.”

The real question is do we want them to? Far too much info on each and every one of us in the hands of un-elected bureaucrats holding the keys to some of the most broad-reaching technology ever to be deployed, IMO.

I’d rather they just shut down all the domestic spying, and get on to securing the border. Why spend billions trying to keep track of them once they are in the country, when we could spend less, secure the border, and cut the crap.

You would prefer massive voter fraud?

Interesting.

You could have driven your bus off a cliff or into a river and then claimed “accident”.

;-)

From what I have heard about south of the boarder bus safety this would not seem unusual!

Nope. I don’t prefer massive voter fraud. I do support voter ID, though.
My comment was to the notion that the NSA folks have all that info, and we should be ‘using’ it, rather than recognizing it for the intrusion that it is.
Sorry for the confusion...

Fair enough!

Voter ID, paper ballots, purple fingers, and no precinct reports until all declare they have their totals.
