Those who are licensed to carry. Have a jacket that will allow you to have your gun ready in a pocket. Have your hand in the pocket with the safety off or your thumb on the safety. Shoot through the pocket rather than taking the time to remove your gun from said pocket.

I’m just pointing something out...there was a car at the intersection of the attack. It looked like it was a stop sign. Was it the attackers car? Was it someone who was just passing by? They would have seen this if it happened....does anyone think this is a prank? This looks as if it is in suburbia in a neighborhood with nowhere to run in a snow storm...just doesn’t look right if you ask me. I’m just sayin...

The game I know is “Unload the Magazine”.
I'm ashamed to say that this happened in my hometown of Rochester, NY. This occurred in the Edgerton neighborhood of the 10th Ward. It's in the city in one of the neighborhoods that were once decent and have turned into gang-infested ghettos where the majority of the neighborhood residents live on some sort of public assistance. There's still some old timers left in that neighborhood (there used to be many Italians living there) and rather than treat the elderly with respect, the young thugs prey upon those who are left in the neighborhood.
Obama will be outraged in 1...2...3...
I have a friend that plays that game. He got tired of paying unemployment for them.
If not attempted murder, which could be hard to prove, the appropriate charges would be aggravated battery, elder abuse, and a hate crime. Add them all up and there’s a long sentence. Indeed, since the elderly are often the targets of this vile crime, the AARP and other senior citizens’ organizations ought to start taking an interest in it.
I know it is in quote marks and is the media “generally accepted” term for this type of brutal assault, but can’t we stop referring to it as a “game”??
It might be a game if two thugs agreed to a “game” of trying to beat each other’s brains out.
The victims are not a part of any “game”. They did not agree to take part. It is more like a of couple thugs setting up to box each other in a ring in an old gym, and instead of entering the ring, pick the most vulnerable of the audience to start beating on. SHEESH. Game?!? These victims didn’t even go into a trashy boxing venue, but are minding their own business in a public place!
It is unprovoked ASSAULT.
Lets call it something like “UNPROVOKED, COWARDLY ASSAULT”. And mention COWARDLY prominently.
It just sickens me to see the word “game” attached to it. The word game still has other connotations and associations. Even Knockout has legal connotations.
Someone that these typs of thugs revere needs to come out with a very strong message:

You are NOT ANY KIND OF MAN by beating up people you know are weaker than you!
You are just a COWARD and SISSY and you will be LAUGHED AT by REAL MEN. Well, after they find you and beat YOU up . . .
