An Air Force general in charge of nuclear weapons repeatedly drank too much and behaved like a boor last summer during an official trip to Moscow, where he insulted his Russian hosts and hung out with two suspicious women he met at a hotel bar, according to an investigative report released Thursday. Maj. Gen. Michael Carey, who was commander of the Air Force´s arsenal of land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles, acted in a manner that exceeded the limits of accepted standards of good conduct during a four-day visit to Moscow in July, according to an investigation conducted by the Air Force

I have had too many drinks on occasion. I fraternized with sweet young things of the opposite sex. As a young man I didn’t reveal any secrets.
Who knew, this could be done? It’s a MIRACLE.
After years of being around the Air Force, I came to realize at some point in the mid-1990s....we were promoting up the line a number of dimwits to one-star and above. These were guys with attitude issues, marginal common sense, and generally lacked executive ability.
I don’t know the trigger to this or why it became so noticeable. With my own statistics....I’d take a stab that a third of all AF officers above Colonel....should be tossed out because of issues. Why they aren’t filtered out or noted for problems when they were in earlier years....I have no idea.
Most Russian women who hang out in hotel bars are government workers, but not in the U.S. sense.
OTOH, the Air Force has had their party instinct browbeaten, bred, lead, lesbianed, and prosecuted out of them. So now when it IS time to drink and be stud, they are clueless as to how it looks. So they do it all wrong insulting everyone.
It all started with the requirement that unit activities had to have a huge amount of food provided, proportionate to beer served.
So now, that instinct dead a few decades, this pussified General can’t do a little negotiations for a couple of Anna Kournakovas without making an ass of himself.
I feel bad for him, he never learned to party with USMC grunts.
“If you can’t party, you cant fight.”
And somewhere at the base of this was the informant. Ill bet a paycheck a female officer complained.
Somehow I get the feeling that they were upset that he liked women.
A sorry state of affairs to be sure.
Could it be the investigators simply misunderstood when he offered to take the two suspicious women up to his room and show them his missile?
The launch code is 00000000.
Don’t tell anyone.
The good-looking one was Snowden in drag.
There was a time when fighting men were supposed to be a little rough around the edges. Now we're all expected to be choirboys. It's gotten really bad in the Navy (google 0-0-1-3) and I imagine the Air Force is even worse.

Guaranteed those women were setups for info gathering.
I’m intrigued by the “suspicious Russian women”.
Maybe they just wanted to see his "hardened silo."
Regards,
At least the general likes women, unlike the Commander in Fraud.

Nah, they were after his vital bodily fluids.
“An Air Force general in charge of nuclear weapons repeatedly drank too much and behaved like a boor last summer during an official trip to Moscow, where he insulted his Russian hosts and hung out with two suspicious women he met at a hotel bar...”
Wait! Are we talking about Bill Clinton or some member of the uniformed armed service?
“Something smells about all this. You dont make general acting like this.”
Well you wouldn’t MAKE general acting like this. But as we saw from Gen. Petraus they sometimes lose sight of the behavior standards. That said, I think this was a setup.
A lot of these misbehaving generals seem to be in charge of nuclear weapons.
