On Sunday, just two days after announcing it would be pulling some Duck Dynasty products featuring Phil Robertson from its stores, Cracker Barrel announced that it had reversed itself and would reinstate all Duck Dynasty products. In an announcement via Twitter, Cracker Barrel wrote:

Nice try. Too late. You foolishly made the call and jumped to conclusions and I hope your customers become your X-customers. Since there aren’t any of your stores where I live you won’t be losing me anyway but I know there’s a bunch in the south and I hope them “ignorant” red necks stay away in droves.
Duh! They’re still stupid. If they want to atone, then the head of who ever thought the fag lobby mattered needs to roll.
Maybe we have turned a corner on the stranglehold which political correctness has on this country? We’ll see. This turnaround sure didn’t take long.

I don’t eat the crappy slop that Cracker Barrel serves and trys to pass as food. I eat healthy and I don’t think they know what healthy food would be if they ever had any there. But KUDO’s to Cracker Barrel for doing the right thing for their customers.

Too late in my opinion. They are just as bad as A & E siding with the gay community. If I had a Cracker Barrel in my area I would not eat there nor accept their apology.

In my opinion, they never should have weighed in on this in the first place. They could have just kept the status quo and then nobody would have been offended. Instead, now everybody is offended in some way. Liberals have to be angry that they reversed course. And the rest of us were offended in the first place by their knee jerk politically correct reaction of pulling the merchandise in the first place.

I was shocked that CB jumped in AFTER it already became obvious that GLAAD had overplayed their hand and a full throated backlash was in progress. Too little too late, I’m afraid.
They just announced this late in the morning today (Sunday)
I’d be curious what their breakfast revenue will be today compared to previous Sunday mornings...and a Sunday morning before Christmas.
There are a hell of a lot more Phil Robertsons living in this country than there are homosexuals.
I forgive them and will continue to eat at CB at the same rate I have for the last 20 years ever since that Thanksgiving fiasco where we waited over an hour and I think a portion of our food were table scraps from someone else’s dinner.
Somebody in the Cracker Barrel management team is definitely going to get nailed for this one. Offending customers right before the last minute retail gift push!
I bet their yesterday’s sales receipts just tanked. When their daily numbers came in to the corporate HQ, there must have been a whole lot of shrieking.
