Please bear with me... it doesn’t matter what Phil’s, yours or my explanation is, people (not only gays mind you) consider ANYTHING short of total agreement or silence, to be anti-gay. Sometimes this is even true among believers of the resurrected Jesus Christ who are sanctified by that blood.
That type of thinking totally boggles my mind. There is positively no way to dialogue with those people. The only way I can survive the craziness is to immerse myself with the talk/print of Christian apologists, Mark Levin, or Dennis Prager. Accurate thinkers.
AND. ..at the very end of the article is a new statement from Cracker Harrell completely different from the one on Friday ..now they’re apologizing for offending US.
Pitiful. Spineless. Cowards.

Now how about the network also backs down and brings back Phil Robertson.

I thought he would stand by what he said.
One never backs down when they are right.

So Phil is back? It’s all resolved?
Think that the media has their silk undies in a knot. They can’t get enough of Phil and want to shame him into retracting his truthful statements and apologizing to gays, A & E and Disney. He is the sinner. Oops, in the Bible they are the sinners and that what Phil quotes.
The media is also keeping Phil in the spotlight and his message about Jesus and the teaching of the Bible and his commitment to both.
The more Phil straightening his spine, the more they attack him, the more people listen and the truth shines through.
A&E, gays and Disney are big, big losers in this one. Did they think they could beat Jesus?
It was resolved almost immediately. Jim Robinson posted it when it happened but people didn’t take note of it.

I think that stupid “Phil is Back” news story from yesterday was just a deceptive headline. The story was really just referencing the episodes already in the can, which were slated to start running in January. But the headline was making it sound like Robertson/A&E had resolved their differences.
I just heard a discussion on Fox news - they are just playing small-ball, refusing to address the larger issue behind this whole “mess”. And that is a redefinition of moral standards in America. He is in trouble for saying something that would have been accepted a common sense 50 years ago, and still is (I believe) for most Americans not on the edge coasts. And these folks finally have something to rally around and so “no!”
I think it is as simple as that - the real question is where does it go from here.
there ought to be a viable commercial market for anti A and E “merchandise” about now....

The fact that he is on the opposite side of political correctness is his greatest attribute.
Wisdom is rare these days. It has nothing to do with being educated.
Remember A&E wanted a show of stupid rednecks from southern flyover country to mock,what they didn’t expect was this family has great values that connected with real people. These are the bitter,ignorant clingers that pound their Bibles and carry their guns in pickup trucks that have always impeded the progressive agenda. This are the very people Barack warned you about!
I watched Duck Dynasty for 20 minutes this evening and found it boring and too scripted...too fake for me but I wish this extended family good luck with A&E
