Former CIA Director James Woolsey had harsh words Tuesday for anyone thinking about giving Edward Snowden amnesty, and argued the NSA leaker should be “hanged” if he’s ever tried and convicted of treason.
Woolsey, along with former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Hugh Shelton, spoke Tuesday in Washington in an interview with Fox News.
“I think giving him amnesty is idiotic,” Woolsey said. “He should be prosecuted for treason. If convicted by a jury of his peers, he should be hanged by his neck until he is dead."

These people are sick control freaks. Snowden deserves thanks for exposing the Orwellian state we live in, regardless of the not-so subtle methods he used. I hope he marries a nice Russian girl and they are never caught by Obama’s thugs.

Will we do that to everyone who commits Treason, or just Snowden? s/ I’m sure we can come up with a list of individuals who we’d like to hang for treason, ask any Viet Nam Vet. and I’m sure Snowden won’t be the first name they come up with.

No, Snowden revealed operational techniques and classified/confidential sources, meetings, etc.
While some of the NSA programs are out of wack, and need to be curtailed, reformed or abolished, others are lifesaving and need to be kept. However, secrecy is the most important part of intelligence operations and Snowden destroyed that advantage we had.
Nobody gives a damn about your phone conversations. I had to tell hardcore communists that 40 years ago. They were paranoid beyond belief. Small fry are usually not important in subversive operations unless you track them to the big boys (been there, done that).
The damage that Snowden has done to America’s security will cost us lives in the future. Our enemies never sleep and they are always looking for chinks in our armor through which to attack us. If 9/11 taught us nothing else, it is that they were watching, for years, found the chink, and killed 3,000 people, brought down 7 major buildings, 4 planes, and damaged the Pentagon only because they couldn’t see the White House or the Capital.
That plane literally passed within less that a mile of my house and the explosion of it hitting the Pentagon shook it.
If they are reading this or listening to my phone, fine. They can also pay for the pizza I ordered a while ago. That is the least they can do to keep me happen.
