Nobody is out trying to make theft, drunkenness and adultery perfectly acceptable in the public arena.

The police will be out with breathalyzers trying to jail drunk drivers, they will be jailing the thieves (except politicians) and adulterers will pay for their betrayal within their family.Even politicians pay for adultery when discovered.

I think the problem with homosexuals is that they are trying to have people remove homosexuality the list of sins. Homosexuals already have the freedom to commit the sin, just like any other sinner. But that is not enough to quench the homosexuals deep and burning guilt.

People don’t have the power to remove homosexuality from the list of sins or to absolve the homosexual. The only way they get close to that is to remove religion from the public arena. That still won’t accomplish the homosexuals desires or relieve their feelings of guilt.

The homosexuals battle is with God and the only way they will win or get any real relief is to surrender to God. Politicians can make their theft legal under mans law but that doesn’t mean it’s legal under Gods law. True happiness will remain illusive for the homosexual until they give in to God.

I suppose our battle is to keep clinging to our religion and God no matter what. They can ban religion from the public square but they won’t ever remove God from our heart and mind. Impossible.

While the Japanese were celebrating the bombing of Pearl Harbor in December of 1941, the mastermind of that attack, Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, had a sobering message for his countrymen. "We have awakened a sleeping giant," he said.

This is an apocryphal story. He may never have said that (except in the movie Tora! Tora! Tora!

That aside, yes, the homosexual lobby has.

Not sure is the sleeping giant has awoken, but I am sure tired of 2% dictating how the other 98% are supposed to behave.

You are correct, but another factor is at work here mathematically. The problem is not just the 2% of gays, they are not great enough to cause a problem of notice. The problem is the high percentage of the population that are not gay but support gays. Again, it is the percentage of Progressives that is causing the problem. The same kind of percentages that gave us Obama...and the same people. Gays are just one of the many parasites riding along on the Progressive host.

You aren’t fooling anyone with your BS! Race pimps like Jessie Jackass and Al Sharptounge is what you represent.

“Progressive Urban Poverty Law Center: Time For Representative Darrell Issa To Resign

As they say among tequila drinkers, “The Worm Has Turned.”

I viewed with disgust and disbelief, Rep. Darrell Issa’s, the powerful chairman of the ineffectual House Oversight Committee, mistreatment of the United States Attorney General, Mr. Eric Holder, a black man.

The tone of Chairman Issa’s line of questioning of Mr. Holder reminded me of 1950’s Alabama, and made me fear for Mr. Holder’s neck.

Issa, a white man with strong ties to the California Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, has held many racially motivated hearings since taking the chairmanship when the congress flipped from D to R in 2010.”

Once somebody stands up to them, they will blink and collapse. Maybe Phil is that person.

Phil may well be a catalyst that shames some into standing up and igniting a spark in others. We need more like him - well-known and liked and willing to stand up without blinking.

GLAAD and the rest of the gay special rights lobby are nothing more than a bunch of bullies.

Everyone who's ever confronted a bully knows that the best way to beat them is it punch them right in the nose.

Just sayin'...

Your points make a lot of sense to me. I myself have thought along similar lines for a long time but did not see how it could be accomplished.

and are using their resources and might to crush conservatism and Christianity?

Christianity cannot be crushed. In rare cases, it has been driven underground...but, frankly, it thrives underground better than out in the open.

I’d have to characterize the condition of the American people, generally speaking, as comatose, not asleep. Comatose patients occasionally wake up, though. I hope the American people do.

Conservatives have traditionally defended big business from the left. What will happen now that big business supports the full left wing philosophy and are using their resources and might to crush conservatism and Christianity?

This nicely resonates with howls of protest over Pope Francis' remarks regarding capitalism. There is a reason that the First Commandment got first place. Idolatry comes very easy to us.

There’s no place for “men” in the modern United States, don’t you know.

That’s what the fight is about.

This is a mistake that the Left makes. They seem to think that loving the sinner is the same as accepting the sin.

The reason that voters are no longer against gay marriage is that big business threw their weight into it.

I disagree.

As we have seen most recently with Cracker Barrel, big business is at the mercy of the consumer. Big business, in social matters, is a follower, not a leader. They will happily sell you a condom or a chastity belt.

Voters don't look to big business for voting advice. Management rarely tells the workers who to vote for unless the ballot issues directly & materially affect the business. Big business, by virtue of nondiscrimination laws, has been forced to accept behavior & dress in the workplace that no serious businessman would ever tolerate.

I fault priests & pastors for changing their message from sin & salvation to inclusion & tolerance. Phil Robertson has shamed them. He speaks the truth the pastors & priests avoid. He confronts sin & sinners head on, simple & straightforward. It hard to make that claim about our current religious leaders, whose words are so vague they are routinely interpreted in opposing ways. We see how the Pope's words are so ambiguous that Nancy Pelosi believes she is doing God's work, a Catholic in good standing. We see Christian leaders equating Christianity with islam, its avowed mortal enemy & moral opposite.

Phil is trying to save individual souls, while Christian leaders seem more interested in their own power & influence. Phil exposes this hypocrisy, as does the deafening silence from the pulpit re. the A&E persecution of Phil R. Solid Christian leaders should stand up & say, "You are going to Hell & you are NOT taking us with you".
