Think about the ratio of media coverage between these two stories that happened almost at the same time: the star of a cable TV reality show getting fired for thinking homosexual acts are a sin and two whole states of the union getting judicially enforced acceptance of ‘gay marriage’ within hours of each other despite one of them having an amendment defining marriage.

Agreed. No measure will take the place of total economic warfare. War means war. And if that means letting one's favorite professional sport go, then so be it.

The questions are:

1- How do you sync everyone?

2- How do you teach and mentor so that the spending habits of conservatives are congruent with their beliefs?

3- How do you get them to vote in a fashion that "low voter turnout" for conservatives becomes a thing of the past? We should never see 40% turnout again (like the recent lost in Virginia). Ever. That is straight up bullshiite.

It would not surprise me that the ideas/answers can be found here within the FR membership: but we need to stop ducking around and get to where we need to go.

I’m in agreement. It would make for clearer communication, though, if most people had a better, more accurate working definition of fascism. And Mammon.

People were saying this over the Chick-fil-a flap about a year ago. Certainly didn’t help come election day. I believe the same will happen here. Nothing.

What industrial might? We’ve destroyed our industrial might and shiver at the thought of fighting a new major war using slings and arrows....made in China.

It's a silly premise that the USA will need to suddenly start manufacturing tanks and rifles to fight the next world war. The next world war will be fought with buttons and switches deep in the bunkers of Colorado and Nevada, etc.

Let's hope for humanity that it does not happen.

If you are still worried about conventional warfare, the U.S. still has more military might than the rest of the world put together several times over. Ships, planes, tanks, carriers, you name it and the U.S. has an overwhelming numerical superiority in all those things as well as millions of people trained on how to use them. We have more gear in mothballs alone than the other combined countries have operational in the field.

As well, one of the only good things that has come from the never-ending Middle East wars of the past 12 years is that we now have an entire generation of soldiers and reserve soldiers with battle experience. So just because we find it cheaper to have our gear made overseas doesn't make us weak. Manufacturing isn't rocket science which is why we employ low-skilled laborers overseas to make our things for us. We have the blueprints, the raw materials and the manpower to quickly gear up factories here if circumstances ever dictate we must.

It is a fallacy to believe that since we export our manufacturing that we no long have the ability to do it ourselves. But why would we want to? Manufacturing is now a low-skill job, soon to be done by robots. The low-skill laborers in China and Mexico, etc., are only transitional because within 10 years, almost all manufacturing will be done by robotics. Note: A young person today would be wise to get an engineering degree with a specialty in robotics.

Don't let the Democrats and the labor unions trick you into thinking that the abandoned factories in America is some sort of tragedy. It's a sign of progress. We don't want our children slaving away in grimy union-run factories with smokestacks belching steam and smoke. There's nothing romantic about working in a factory. Next time you hear a Bruce Springsteen song lamenting the closing of some factory or whatnot, remember that Springsteen never worked in a factory so he doesn't know what the hell he is talking about.

I want my children to design the factories of the future and to program the robots who will work there - not work in a factory themselves.

****“I am Phil Robertson”

/Spartacus***

The movie script, but not the book. There is no Tony Curtis character and NO “I Am Spartacus” in the book. The movie is more DALTON TRUMBO than Howard Fast.

Besides, I liked Arthur Koestler’s THE GLADIATORS better.

GO PHIL! Give the weenie waggers hell!

If that sleeping giant has awoken, then “said giant” better be saying this a lot!

From Romans, chapter 1 ...

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

22 Professing to be wise, they became fools,

23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.

24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves,

25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;

29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers,

30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful;

32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.

THAT would certainly be “dynamite” to LGBT-types ... :-) ...

I’m sure they are “foaming at the mouth” at this part ...

For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness ...

Also, in reference to what someone else said about homosexuality being another sin - just like all the sins listed in the Bible ... I’ll have to point out that it’s QUITE UNIQUE in comparison to other sins. I said the following in another posting elsewhere ...

The unique thing about what God said in Romans 1 — is that this particular sin is actually a “judgement” from God in that He has them debasing themselves in such a way. THIS (what the LGBTs promote) is actually God’s judgement upon them in that they are to do these things to themselves. They, therefore, receive god’s judgement in the “here and now” for clearly rejecting what god has made clear to the,.

SO ... while these are all sins - fornication, adultery, thieving, drunkenness, slandering, swindling - and will not be allowed into Heaven ... none of these are, in and of themselves - a condition which God imposes upon people for their rejection of what God has made clear to them,

On the other hand — the LGBT lifestyle is a specific condition and judgement of God Himself - upon these people,

AND THEREFORE, God has put upon them the absolute worst of the worst sin possible in a human being - in order to thoroughly DEBASE them to the ultimate extent in THIS LIFE, in the HERE AND NOW and not upon “Judgement Day”.

LGBT-people are a “walking advertisement” of God thoroughly debasing someone to the maximum extent possible, in a human being. They are walking around with a “neon flashing sign” — saying — “Look at me! God has not even waited until Judgement Day to judge me!”

Actually I thought the Chick Fil A mess was their Midway... Folks showed they were mad as hell and not going to take it anymore... Reality is Homosexuals are 1-2% of the population, and the other reality is the other 98% of the population really don’t give a crap that these folks do what they do with each other, but sure as hell will NEVER consider it normal.

The other 98% are happy to live and let live, the problem is that 2% want the other 98% to be forced into accepting them as normal, and will by any means possible try to silence any thing or anyone who will openly state, what they do is not to them considered normal.

They 1-2% are grossly overplaying their hand, and folks have had enough.

And lets not remotely get into how over represented those 1-2% are as both victims of and perpetrators of sexual abuse.

***The term “homophobe” has always amused me**

Sounds like YOU suffer from HOMOMISIA! A revulsion of homos.

You are not alone. Same here.

I’ve noticed in my 68 years of life that people who hate homos the most are mostly working men who don’t go to church.

Christians want to convert the homo.
The unchurched want to beat the coon dog s**t out of them.

*And I had been thinking the past few days....like Vet.....They have awakened a sleeping giant.

We’re mad, fed up and not going to take it anymore*

We’ve been allowing the Left to control almost everything for 40 years.

Time to say ENOUGH!

End of having a tiny minority control the majority.

Time for THEM to finally sit down and shut up as they have been telling us for decades

The Left paints this educated man as a hick, but in fact he is a very smart and savvy entrepreneur.

Duck Dynasty’: Phil Robertson has master’s degree

Jason Kempin/Getty
Emma Riley SuttonOklahoma City Top News Examiner

March 1, 2013

The slow talking “happy, happy, happy” redneck star of A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” has a master’s degree in education. According to a report on March 1 from The Hollywood Gossip, Phil Robertson attended Louisiana Tech where he also played football.

“It is hard to imagine Phil Robertson with a master’s degree,” Lisa Simmons, from Oklahoma City, said. “If you can get past his beard and drawl and really listen to him, you can tell he is a very bright and intelligent man. Too many people judge a book by it’s cover. You can’t do that with Phil [Robertson].”

While earning his degrees, Phil Robertson also played a little football. He was the starting quarterback. Phil Robertson could have easily played for the NFL, but gave up football for hunting and fishing. Curious as to how good he was? Terry Bradshaw, the NFL great, was the back-up quarterback for Phil Robertson.

Although it may appear the Phil Robertson doesn’t use his master’s degree in education, but that may not be entirely true. He must have used his education when creating Duck Commander into a million dollar empire.

The way to end it is to make homosexuals poison on “mass market” television programs.

Homosexual based shows like modern family and glee or any other show with homosexuals should be toxic to ratings and poison pills for advertisers.

putting a pro-homosexual theme show on air/production should be financial suicide.

The way to end it all is to run clips of gay porn during the commercicals.

If they want to be “out”, they should come all the way out and show everyone what they’re really about.

Not many people really get into Greek.
