The Convention of States Project is moving along and gaining momentum every day. The first meeting of state sponsors held at Mt. Vernon was a success in many ways and America is going to learn a lot about this plan to save the nation and preserve the rights of individuals at the next assembly being held in May in the State House of the Indiana legislature. If you don't know about this movement, you can learn more
HERE.
THIS WEBSITE gives simple instructions on how to become involved at the volunteer or leadership level.
This is a real chance to make a difference and take action in limiting the growth of government. Once you've completed the simple form, please return to this thread and announce your commitment to America as so many of us are already doing. If you are wondering about involvement in your state, check here
THIS IS OUR TIME!

Don’t do fazebook and never will so the “check here” link is useless to Me and probably many others.
That said, I’m leery of this COS thing backfiring and the Constitution getting gutted.

I miss out on stuff passed around by family members who use Facebook and not the phone or snail mail. But we've seen others lose control of what should be confidential information, freely open to strangers. Leaving a trail of information on Facebook is not a good thing.

2 very valid points, BayNative. I certainly wouldn’t consider “fazebook” for anything and I wonder about the validity of getting people together that do “fazebook” for anything. This could backfire on conservatives like elections have for the last 50 years.

" Im leery of this COS thing backfiring and the Constitution getting gutted." Gee, you're probably right. Maybe we should all just sit back and let the Rinos and liberals have their way with us and take the country to ruin.
If you had been at the banks of the Delaware River would you have told Washington to give up because a boat might tip over?

I didn’t say I was against it.
I am concerned that it be done PROPERLY and I trust ALMOST NO politicians.
And I would have helped paddle that boat had I been there.

I thought I was the only one in the world not on Facebook!
I’m so happy to learn that I’m not the odd man out.

Look at what is being written about the workings of the convention and how the sponsors are framing the assembly to prevent a massacre.
Look at the website and read the articles of look at the videos. This is not a thrown together call of desperation. It is well thought out. That is why the security was high and the media was kept out at Mt Vernon. The sponsors knew what the media would do to slander the effort. The news that comes out will be delivered factually. This is a STATE's effort and has nothing to do with the scum inside the beltway.

In my view the Constitution was divinely inspired.
Claims that this current generation of politicians can make it better are so idiotic that I simply cant think of the words to express how stupid this idea is and the folks supporting it are...
Sorry if some may be offended but get you heads out of your a** and make what has been given us work..
To: Baynative
Seems kind of premature, when the ones picking the delegates haven’t themselves exactly shown a propensity for understanding or following the Constitution we’ve already got.

LOL I use a site called NoBook IP Address 0.0.0.0
Kinda like zero’s BC- 404 ERROR - NOT FOUND!
The opposite of zero’s SS# Search - INFINITE listings

Listen carefully to the proposal
from State Senator Bill Taylor and answer the simple question he asks,
"If not this course correction, what's the alternative?".

I support the convention but Colorado is controlled by Dems right now. I’m working on changing that so perhaps we can send a delegation in 2015 or later.
