It’s not a poke at Drudge for any perceived or actual event in his life. Geez, where did I insinuate anything about his being gay?
It is, simply: Please, EVERYONE — PRAY HARDER, VOTE MORE OFTEN, Nuke Washington D.C. or whatever you can to get us out of the mess we’re in. It’s getting worse nearly every day. What we’re doing is not working.
Or just continue to jump on me for making a slightly wry remark that you’re assigning all kinds of unintended meanings to.

Did they try and kill Drudge too? I had not heard anything about this.
I was 9 years old and I got sick of being forced to pray to something before every meal, going to bed at night and in church several times, every time the church was open.
As soon as I was able to escape in 1970, I did so and have been happy ever since.

You see, in that instance DJ made sure the “joke” was clearly understood as a joke by adding “(rolls eyes)”.
DJ does not “get it”, in that DJ does not get it that in the flat one-dimensional, no face, no facial expression, no evident emotion way that communication takes place in this sort of venue, it is not AUTOMATIC that a “joke” is understood to be a joke, when the text alone can just as easily be taken seriously because the authors INTENT is not self-evident in the text.
When deliberately trying to make a joke, I try to remember to place the text “/sarc” at the end of my comment, to avoid any misunderstanding. If I forget that and my intent is misundestood, I do not respond with a “Sheesh” comment, because NOT being CLEAR that it is a joke is my fault, not the readers.
He may have found prayer but I don’t think he’s found the Bible.

No. Not at all. It was totally my invention trying to insert some humor into the topic.
So what about Matt’s sin— it’s between him and the Lord, just like liars, adulterers, thief’s and murderers. The fact that he is saying prayer has been instrumental to him, tells me the Lord and Holy Spirit are working on Matt....How many us have strayed from the Lord over our lives? How many us were sinful before giving our hearts to Christ?
Look at what the Lord did for Saul, who became Paul....then King David, who committed adultery, had her husband killed, and was forgiven and became one of the Greatest Kings of Israel.

I haven’t clicked on his page after what he did to Newt...don’t intend on going there any time soon.
Maybe Pastor Billy Graham can save one more soul before he leaves us. Perhaps Don Trump or Governor Palin can put the two together.
