Yieks. My sister, brother in law and kids live there. Although they live in the burbs so hopefully that will stay safe. The house is huge
.6600 square feet. I just saw it for the first time over Christmas. I could not believe it. In Maryland our house is less then half of that and triple the cost of their home. It is amazing.

Indy has seen approximately 10 percent more homicides per capita than the Windy City.Per capita isn't really an accurate measurement of crime. In Chicago's case, there's many neighborhoods that are perfectly safe, and a small handful that are literal war zones.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t both cities have a serious problem with most crimes being committed by, umm, Obama’s peeps?

My guess is that Chicago is finding creative ways to non-report homicides.
No proof, just a guess.

Indianapolis homicide officers were investigating...It keeps my Son-in-law busy.
He's a cop there.

Indianapolis murder rate exceeds Chicago
As a fan of Chicago's murder rate I find that information very disappointing........Oh well, there's always next year.
