Rose Parade or "Gay Pride" Parade? (entry #82)
Washington Times ^ | Dec 31, 2013 | Jennifer Kerns

Posted on 01/01/2014 7:26:09 AM PST by Innovative

Organizers are allowing progressives to parade their political agendas around and morph a historic parade into an event more closely resembling a gay pride parade than the Rose Parade we have come to know.

This Wednesday on New Year’s Day, the Rose Parade will showcase a gay wedding being officiated LIVE atop a float shaped like a giant wedding cake. The float is sponsored by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation.

There is nothing unusual about gay activists wanting to promote their cause. What is unusual, however, is the fact that national TV networks during daytime family programming will allow a political agenda to be pushed and will showcase two men engaging in a romantic kiss.

Same here. I never liked parades, even as a child. I was one weird kid. And now I’m a weird adult. :)

Evil now struts boldly on the media screen. And yet even this filth is not enough to satisfy those whose souls are dead in degeneracy. They will be demand even more exposure for their degeneracy, believing that somehow such filth will be transformed to normative behavior ... but only other dead souls will ever accept God damned degeneracy as normal.

In past years we have watched the Rose Bowl Parade.....Not this year! If someone wants to be gay that is their business, they need not shove that in my face as I will immediately ignore them and/or boycott any company that promotes their values.

It is a shame that this is the year Vin Scully is finally Grand Marshal. Maybe they should have had a child molestor or hooker as grand marshal to really cap off the event.

They should have given grand marshal to Shep Smith or Piers Morgan.

Jay Leno said "If God doesn't destroy Hollywood Boulevard, he owes Sodom and Gomorrah an apology."

Good observation. That Cup of Wrath of His must be getting pretty full by now, but unlike with S&G, apparently there must still be a few righteous, praying souls left in California to make a deal and/or Jesus is as patient, loving and forgiving as claimed.

All those people living on very unstable ground, yet there's not much repenting going on. Instead, it's the exact opposite with attitude.

Makes me wonder how much time is left on the "Time of Grace and Mercy" clock?

It's going to get very unpleasant when that allotted time runs out.

All the other participants should have demanded that the disgusting float not be allowed to participate.

There are alternatives to this sodomy spectacle. I’m watching Suspicion on Turner Classic Movies. Good Hitchcock movie.

We live in a politicallu correct world now.

If the Rose Parade officials had denied the entry of the homosexual wedding, they would have faced the full blown meltdown of all the gay and liberal groups for discrimination.

And their trump card would have been that homosexual marriage is legal in California now. Since homosexual marriage is legal, how can anyone object, would have been the liberal wailing if they had been denied permission to be there.

I just saw a piece of the parade, and a commercial came on for the Oscars. Ellen de Generes was dressed in a man’s tuxedo plugging the Oscars.

Why do many lesbians go out of their way to have a mannish appearance???

I am watching it. I watch it every year. However this year I did something a bit different. I contacted Honda and said I will not buy a car from them ever again. Nor will my family or friends.

When float #82 goes by, I will go get myself another beer and prep for the hockey game.

“If the Rose Parade officials had denied the entry of the homosexual wedding, they would have faced the full blown meltdown of all the gay and liberal groups for discrimination.”

I am afraid you are correct, but the organizers should have had enough backbone to reject it anyway since this is broadcast all over the country.

“The Tournament’s Float Entries Committees oversees the selection process for Rose Parade floats, with the organization’s Executive Committee having final approval over all entries.”
