Especially when courts force every state in the Union to accept. I doubt every one agrees with a court ruling, just as much as I know not everyone is satisfied with the Supreme Courts’ ruling on abortion.

Agreed, and it’s pretty sad that people don’t consider fornication, or adultery, or just about any kind of sex sin a serious problem anymore.

Also, no coincidence that the McQueen HS Lancers marching band from Reno, NV followed the AHF float. Or that after the band came the Lutheran Layman League’s “Jesus Welcomes Everyone” float. All near the tail end of the parade (pun intended), but with a not-too-subtle and purposeful message. Sick.

You're hypersensitive enough to post a response to my annoyance at somebody beefing about California ON A CALIFORNIA-BASED WEB SITE?

Interesting how your own hypersensitivies manifest themselves here!

You have my sincere apology. I even have a relative or three living in Northern Leftafornia Oakland) ... not that they are any less liberal Californians, but it would be impossible for the state to continue to function without some conservatives to reign in the madness on occasion. But I wouldn’t live in Leftafornia even if someone paid me to be there. I spent one year in Encino Hills and that was more enough to ‘learn me off of it’.

I have watched this parade on TV for years...I remember my first was in the 50’s. Each year for the last decade or so it has become lackluster. The political correctness is sickening. Did not watch this year...probably won’t again.

We watched parade replays after returning from mass this am. Stephanie Edwards and Bob Eubanks are on a local channel and are strong Christians. They showed the float for about 7 seconds, did not zoom in, no kiss, no mention of marriage. We laughed so hard. I don’t know what the other channels showed. It was obvious and different from their coverage of the other floats.

Many of the float designers are gay, so there had to be some push from those quarters.

There are a lot of us conservatives and Tea Party folks and Christians and Catholics here in California. Just not enough to counteract the voting fraud + teachers’ unions + libs in Sacramento + yahoos in government to carry the state. Please don’t lump us all together.

"Hypersensitivity syndrome."

Yeah, kinda like overexposure to peanuts gives one allergies to peanuts. The overexposure of the anti-California crowd on this board will tend to do that to folks who call California home.

The Macy’s Parade was enough that I stopped watching it halfway through, sick, plus a knockoff of the Sound of Music as well.
