72 in Tucson today and there are a lot of Canadians down here for the winter hitting little white balls with sticks and loving it.

Any public figure, politician, or academic who claims the Earth’s climate is changing due to anything other than natural causes should have their throat cut. Of course, I mean that in the nicest possible way. Thanks NYer.

When it gets so cold that gasoline won’t flow, they’ll still be screaming warming.

There is a resaon we call it ‘Winterpeg’ up here! It gets as cold here at times, but we get Chinooks coming through the mountains to warm it up. The warmth from the Chinooks peter out long before they hit Manitoba.

The coldest temps that I have ever experienced were -29°F here in the mountains of North-eastern California and -11°F one night camping in a plastic tube tent. I can’t imagine Winnipeg like temps. Brrr!

I skiied when it was -40 in Crested Butte, Colorado fifty pounds ago.... No need to query you on whether that is Fahrenheit of Celsius. Quite a concept that it is so cold, it is the same temperature in both scales!
