You’re serious about this? You must really dislike Levin.

Yes, I am serious about this. Like or dislike is not the correct way of describing my feelings. Disrespect is a better word.

I think he failed his listeners by not even allowing the discussion of Obama's eligibility on his show. And this from a person who has the expertise and supposedly worships the Constitution. He would even scrub negative comments about his actions from his website, Facebook and Twitter accounts and proudly say this on the air.

I think his actions (inaction) reveals his true self.

Fair enough. I understand how you feel. For what it's worth, I don't get the radioactivity of Obama's eligibility, either. And especially now with Ted Cruz, you know the libs are going to push it big time.

Thanks for the back and forth.

RE: JIMMY FROM BROOKLYN...DAVID FROM NEWARK...HARMONICA GUY...CALLING ALL BOB GRANT REGULARS...WHAT SAY YOU?!?!?!?!

Jimmy from Brooklyn still calls radio shows today. I recently heard him on Michael Savage (He’s the guy who sees commie conspiracy in every event ).

Then there’s vintage Frank of Queens and his monologues which Bob rarely interrupts.

And there’s John from Staten Island who is famous for showing liberal hypocrisy.

I also miss the hilarious effeminate guy — Kiki, who considers Bob a father figure :)

- no - I did not

Bob had me on his producer’s speed dial while he was at WOR to nail the big mouth lefties

- my voice is recognized by both WABC (esp. overnights with Steve M.) and WOR listeners

- but I cannot ruin the mystery

so sorry to hear about this, I met him a couple of times through the years. I missed him when he ended his Sunday show, now he will truly be missed.. May he rest in peace.

I can remember him supporting Christine Todd Whitman for NJ governor back in the 90s , and she turned on him.

I also remember him being fired from WABC 770 when commerce secretary Ron Brown was killed in a plane crash.
I think he said something like ,"The plane carrying Ron Brown crashed with only one survivor... I'm sure Ron Brown was the survivor , but then again, I'm a pessimist."
He was immediately fired and they called Curtis Sliwa in to finish his show.

Sad indeed. Mrs. fatboy was a member of the Horny Brigade.

Broadcast out of NYC and was better than Rush. Wow. This one hurts.

He was pre-Rush. I remember listening to Rush in the late 80s when he first came to NY, and the callers being rude to him.
Rush even mentioned it in his first book. It was because the NY audience was so used to arguing with Bob Grant they didn't know how to handle a talk show host that was respectful to the callers who disagreed with him.

I used to listen to Bob when he was on late at night and I was in H.S. I thought it was hilarious the way he would call people "sickola" and "creep", Bob would get really rude at times.
Gradually though his conservative views started making sense to me. In a way Bob Grant would say the things I could imagine my father and uncles saying. I think Bob really got me into talk radio and conservativism.

Yes, the Bob Grant Horny Birgade. If you were stuck in traffic and got on the air with him, you blew your horn and got a bumper sticker.

Must be a New York thing. Or an FM radio thing.

That alone would probably have me turning the radio off.

“What country are you from...”PAL!”

My fondest memories of Bob grant were the days in which he was on 77 WABC in NY from 3 to 6 PM. I learned a good deal listening to him.

Then he got fired and Hannity took his slot...

Growing up in the 80s -Reagan, Grant, Thatcher, Miracle on Ice- forged me for life. Carter helped as well by showing what a disaster a moronic leftist could be.
