Not too far off from mine, actually. It was off the rim anyway, not that I knew. I guess I took a nail New Year’s Eve day, returning from a trip, and it sat for 48 hours. I got in and started driving to work, when the stupid tire pressure light came on. Well, I’ll get that later, I thought, but then I noticed it was pulling to the left, so I circled back. When I went into my driveway I felt a big thud, and when I finally looked at it. whoa!
So I had to put on the donut, this in the midst of quasi record cold and snow. Plus I haven’t done this in years. I had to really MAN UP, and use supreme LEG POWER on the lug wrench, and manhandle the wheel, and all that stuff. Woof.
That show was just a bonus, you see. Kismet.
Men aren’t obsolete. We are just faster and better at assessing changing conditions and altering our behavior to be more successful. This author might as well be talking about how longbows are obsolete since crossbows came into use, while everyone else is debating .223 vs .309 (or 40 watt phased plasma lasers).

It says that God created them male and female for a reason. Creation involves design, and design reveals intent. Anything outside that design is artificial. It is joining together one man and one woman that conforms to Natural Law of which the Bible is the instruction manual.
The purpose of God’s creation of man and woman is more than the physical one. It is the perfection of his creation because it is also a spiritual one that can only come when the opposite sexes unite and become one flesh. All other methods are artificial and bring spiritual unfulfillment. This perfect spiritual unity is what Jesus spoke about when he called the church as a bride betrothed to him. What a perfect analogy. What God makes he makes perfectly.
One very important thing is left out here.
That Jesus cares, and that He wants righteousness restored by grace to all willing sinners. An excellent case is made by Popp that the practice is wrong. Nothing is said by Popp about restoring the sinners, or how. And this is the all too common sad case for today’s implementations of conservative Christianity. They can condemn; only with reluctance (if at all) can they lift. The whole Christian ex-gay scene, as best as I can see, has been shoved off into timid ghettos. God has got to be sick and tired of this pusillanimity!
I agree. It is the heart of Christ’s message. Through him our sins are washed away from our total being. It is this healing of man’s sinful nature that makes Christianity unique among man’s spiritual pursuits. This is said in Popp’s citation of 1 Corinthians 6:9-11:
Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.
Popp also brings in the purpose of the Holy Spirit, who gives us answers in our spiritual quest. He cites John 15:26, 27... 16:12,13:
When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, that is, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, He will bear witness of Me, and you will bear witness also, because you have been with Me from the beginning. ... I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.”
It is the Holy Spirit that gives men the power to “go and sin no more” and the comfort in our spirit when things go wrong. It is the Holy Spirit that transforms us and leads us from a sinful life by empowering us to replace ungodly habits with godly fruit such as love, patience, and self-control (Galatians 5:18-23).
Another thing that makes Christianity unique among man’s spiritual quests is the truth of God’s love. God’s love for mankind is perfect. And, in my mind, the union between a man and a woman gives us a glimpse of that love. For those who follow the Bible, the love of God fills the pages like a love letter to ones lover.
We’ll see how this all works out when no men are working and the single moms still want their food stamps.

If we are witness the end of men, wouldn’t we be witnessing the end of women as well? There would be no men to create children to grow up as men or women.

sex is for marriage, and it should never have to be worked for in that situation. That alone would solve a lot of our current issues with families.

Oh my! She has hit below the gut. Angry comments like all or most of the ones I’ve read means there is truth in the accusation. Is there nobody out there who can fess up in loving their women and can’t live without them?
There are few woman who look beautiful without make-up, so do you want to pretend you have a beautiful woman but underneath she is plain? Do you not care about the goodness of her heart?

I expect these articles to increase in frequency as all available data suggests the American WOMAN is obsolete. Outside of bearing children, there is nothing they do better than a man; when children are no longer desired by men, then what else is there? Those American men that still want children have no problem finding a foreign woman anyway.

They have become...obsolete. The rantings increase in frequency and pitch as they fade into obscurity, childless and single; they think they’ll shame American men into “getting right”. Due to the voting patterns of single women, men have a variety of more traditional foreign women available to them; they don’t need to settle for a femi-nazi.

Decades ago I was in school in a class that was 3:2 boys to girls; today my sons are in classes with similar breakdowns. The fact is that females in many countries are already aborted by gender or discarded at birth, and as those cultures populate our country (since we won’t breed) that trend may well be here (and the feminists seem to know it). India has already outlawed sex-selective abortions, but the practice continues (and those forced to have female children still have the option of abandoning them in a roadside ditch); Red China already has similar problems due to their one-child policy. Those two countries alone account for 1/3 of the world’s population, and when the attitudes in Muslim countries are taken into account women today should be VERY afraid. These aren’t concepts halfway around the globe anymore; those people now live here in the US, and they don’t automatically become enlightened when they move in...

As disturbing as those shows are, they serve as warnings to any young men: To get on the dole these females need sperm donors; if he is employed that is a bonus (for child support), but if not you still get government housing, welfare, food stamps, WIC, whatever. You’ll get financial aid if you want to go to college as well.
I would love to see the breakdown of how many births in this country are from these skanks in this scam; I suspect it is much higher than the number of children born to married couples.
Exactly. I'm always amused by the rad-feminists who firmly believe we've reached the point in civilization where women can do without men. It would be an interesting experiment to place Rosin, Dowd and other feminists harpies in a place with no men to operate heavy vehicles, fix things, do dangerous jobs, or the thousand and one other things those awful males do the give ungrateful morons like Hanna a wonderful life where they get paid big bucks to spew nonsense like this.
