Virtually every AGW/Climate Change idiot thinks the world is overcrowded and as a result we are raping the environment.

Most of these idiots live in cities.

I like to show them this for perspective.

This whole thing bring chuckles to me.

I lived outside Joplin, Missouri (4.5 miles west of Diamond Grove to be exact) for a decade. During that time I remember it snowing frequently in the winter. Several winters we saw between 2-3 feet of snow. Further, the temperature went down to -5 degree several times.

So now we advance to today, and it is claimed we’re in the death grip of a global warming paradigm shift, that causes terrible cold and storms in the winter. Nope, nothing like this has EVER taken place before... (despite the fact they claim Yosemite Valley was created by glaciers.) Evidently vehicular and industrial emissions were so heavy at one point hundreds of thousands of years ago, that the ice pack receded back from at least half way down inland California.

So now it’s an average winter back east. They got a couple of feet of snow in New York of all places. I mean seriously folks, this is slap-stick comedy at it’s strangest.

And our leaders say the damnedest things. Art Linkletter could have made a new living by inviting adult politicians on his show to herald the darnedest thing they said.

If these jokers weren’t trying to game the public so ferociously, it would be a real hoot watching them melt down, destroy themselves. As it is, they should be charged with fraud. Al Gore is doing it for personal gain. That’s a crime last time I checked.

I think if I was a manufacturer of heat packs,
I’d be giving thousands away as people entered the
stadium. Just doing my part to keep the fans alive.

In the olden days this would have been called THE SIBERIAN EXPRESS or an ALBERTA CLIPPER.

Stay safe, Cripplecreek.
Looks like Sunday night you’re going to see temps around zero with wind chills as low as -30°. We’re looking at -25° with wind chills between -45° and -55°.

It may be time to find my hat and gloves.

"All the ingredients are there for a near-record or historic cold outbreak," he said. "If you're under 40 (years old), you've not seen this stuff before."

And there it is. This is just more winter weather. But because the younger ones have never "seen" it before it not must be unique but somehow also man caused.

Wimpy idiots. They need to quite their whining and deal with it as adults!

Solar activity is a big factor. Also, the tilt of the earth’s axis which causes our seasonal changes, is a factor.

To listen to the liberals, you would swear that man made CO2 emissions are the only factor in our weather and climate.

I want to ask the global warming folks — how is it that earth has had a number of ice ages in history? How did earth warm up since the last ice age? Did Cro-Magnon man have coal fired power plants and drive SUVs?

Chicago was buried under a mile of ice during the ice age. Clearly a time of global warming without man causing anything, caused the ice to melt and the ice age to end.

Looks like the record low here for January was -20 in 1994.

Even though its up near freezing at 30 degrees now, that’s still about 2 degrees below the average high.

I’m 39 and I have seen worse. I remember it quite well, walking to college classes 7am-ish. Winter of 1994

Also late 70’s. I don’t remember much about it other than my parents being quite worried about losing livestock.

Seems like about every 20 years you get a nasty blast in this part of the country(Ohio)

And these cold blasts happen due to natural events, not because we drive SUVs and have coal fired power plants.

These enviro-radicals are blaming everything on climate change/global warming. If we have unusual weather such as this, which is unusual but has happened before, they act as if this has never happened before, and so must be due to climate change.

Does anyone here believe that this cold spell wouldn’t have happened if Congress had passed Obama’s cap and trade bill????

Read an article this morning where the global warming folks were claiming that the polar ice caps are heating up so much it is pushing the cold air out.

Well, I lived in Sioux Falls from the time I was 9 until I was 19 (Dec 59 to Jan 70) and went into the Marines. My last winter there saw at least 3-4 ft of snow and at least two weeks where the average daytime temps were not above 10 degrees and went down to -15 to -20 overnight. That didn’t consider the wind chill. All of the winters during that time were snowy and cold. I went back to school in Lincoln NE and had several winters with extremes. In the AF we were stationed at Minot ND where those temps were the norm in winter and we had 3-day blizzards as late as the first week of May. Stationed at Omaha 80-85 and a lot of extreme temps and weather as well as Rapid City SD from 85-89 and back to Omaha and retirement in 89. What is the matter with these people. This is not that unusual, IT’S FREAKIN WINTER, adapt and get used to it. It’s not the GW hoax crap, it’s the norm.

Lies...all lies, I tell you. How can this possibly be so? Globull warming is going to kill me...that’s what is true. It is so warm, it is cold. Ghia is angered and making the warm feel cold. That’s the story.
